I used the regular (non-waterproof) version of this and I really liked it. However, I prefer waterproof mascara. So, I switched to this. This formula is bad. The first thing I noticed what flaking and not at the end of the day, but within an hour of applying it. The other thing I noticed about this formula is that when applying it, it gets clumpy. I never had these problems with the regular formula. Very disappointed. I will be going back to the non waterproof formula of this mascara.

I use the product for my thin mustache; I'm a man. It looks natural and doesn't run in hot weather, and lasts the entire day.

I've used a lot of mascaras at various price points and this one is hands down my favorite. It wears all day without smudging. No raccoon eyes here.

Covergirl, please bring back Marathon. Nothing else compairs! Professional is nothing like Marathon. I have also tried Mary Kay, Avon, Revlon, and I can't find anything that is as good as Marathon. Why would you ever discontinue the perfect mascara?

On Covergirl's website it says to use this product if you used to use Marathon Lash - but this is no more waterproof than any other cheap mascara. It doesn't stay on even with regular wear, let alone when you need it to..during swimming, weeping, etc.

Don't waste your money! I'm sorry I bought it.

I've used this mascara intermittently for several years now, and I've come to like it the best of all the drugstore brands' waterproof mascaras. The brush is nice, you can apply lightly or heavily with no clumping (one coat for daytime, two coats for a little drama in the evening), and it's nice and waterproof without being impossible to wash off like some other brands. I'm a professional ballet dancer, so I'm very active for long periods of time and get warm and sweaty, and this stuff stays in place. It does get a bit smudge-prone on very warm days, but as long as you don't actually rub your eyes, it does fine.

Most of the mascara wore off within a couple hours during normal wear. There is nothing waterproof about this mascara, and is NOT a replacement for Cover Girl Marathon.

At Covergirl site it is stated that this replaces Marathon Mascara. This is no where as good. Why Covergirl discontinued Marathon, I have no idea; however, they should bring it back!
