Best Uses Comments about CoverGirl Queen Collection Eyeshadow Quad, Blue Notes Q270, .19 oz: This eyeshadow won't stick to my eyelids. It moves around and falls into my eyes! Thought maybe it would apply more easily with a good brush, rather than the provided useless sponge applicator, but no. So replaced it with another brand which applies nicely. Pros

Comments about CoverGirl Queen Collection Eyeshadow Quad, Blue Notes Q270, .19 oz: First, I want to say I'm impressed with the product itself, in terms of quality. The formulation, for the price, is surprisingly smooth, long-wearing & flattering. But I am thirty & work in an office full-time. While I have very good skin, look young for my age, and have fair coloring & blue eyes, I still no longer feel comfortable wearing colors like this to the office. Ten years ago, I wouldn't have batted an eye wearing them. I should also say I'm also a makeup artist, so yes, I know how to apply this properly. Don't get me wrong- it's very pretty, and I've done my eyes with all four shades used at once with success. If I was going out to a club or to the beach, it'd be fine. But in business meetings, with conservative clothes on- no way would I wear all of these at once again. I look & feel like I'm trying to be a teenager- and it didn't lend me any confidence, which makeup is obviously supposed to do. The two darker shades I will reserve for accent colors used sparingly on days when I'm wearing blue. The lighter shades- club & vacation use only. Comments about CoverGirl Queen Collection Eyeshadow Quad, Blue Notes Q270, .19 oz: Gorgeous! I am so very pleased with my new shadow kit from Cover Girl. The colors really are how they are represented on screen and are so complimentary to my skin tone (I'm about a half shade lighter than Beyonce). The kit is called blue notes, but to my eye I feel like they are more greenish. I love to use the mid green for the base and then the deeper green to contour the crease. The darkest green I like to use as more of a liner with a stiff pencil with the lightest color as a blending color. Whether you're light or have a deeper, richer skin tone, this will work because of the endless possibilities of shade combinations you can try. Kudos to Cover Girl for giving us women of color the shades that will work for us! Can't wait to try other products from this line. Displaying reviews 1-3 ![]() |
