These pencils CAN be sharpened - I use my basic $2.99 sharpener (for cosmetics) and it works just fine. Give them another try, they are worth it. I just bought the other four colors because they are BOGO 50% off - you can't beat it. I love these pencils...
The product works just fine but I do not see any way to twist it to get more out and there is no way to sharpen it manually. I was very disappointed that all you get is the length of the original point. Once that is used up there is no more. I will not be purchasing this product again.
