Not many drug store brands match my light caramel African American aging skin, but this works. I think it's best with a primer if you're planning to have it on all day.It also has spf so I wear it when I normally wouldn't even bother just to protect my skin. I like a make up that does more than just cover. This make up treats and protects your skin.I only think it's a little pricey since it runs out quickly. I'd like to see that size for $8 to $10.

I'm surprised at the negative reviews here, because I like this makeup. I usually use Bobbi Brown or Clarins, but I bought this one day and found I like it. It looks great on. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the sponge applicator. It works well, but I think it's difficult to clean...and if I don't clean it, my face will break out. I prefer to use a makeup brush, or sometimes just my (clean) fingers.

i am 54 and my mom is 18 years older...we both loved this stuff and get alotof compliments on our beautiful skin...i dont use tawny tho 220 is my color....everyone i know loves this stuff...

First I'd like to say I have worn cover girl foundation for 35 years. They recently discontinued my favorite advanced radiance. So I am using simply ageless for the first time. It does not go on smooth. You can see that I have it on because it cloges my poors. I wish I had bought it at a store so I could return it. I can not comment on any advantages of this product.

The product comes with a sponge pad for application. The makeup goes on pretty heavily and you must pull and tug quite a bit to spread it evenly over your skin. It is heavy, cakey looking, and "fuzzy" - it has it's own texture, like flannel sheets. If you want heavy coverage, this might be just what you're looking for. Just don't plan on getting it off at night without an exfoliator. I had to scrub to remove it. The direction say to wash the foam pad with soap and water but the make-up DID NOT come off the pad at all. No wonder it was so hard to get off my skin. big waste of money and I'm going to return it to the mfg. and ask for a refund. Ellen DG looks great in the ads but she must sleep with it on and wait for it to wear off on its own.
