SUCCESSFULLY USED OLAY PRODUCTS FOR YEARS. I HAVE DRY SKIN SO PERHAPS THAT WAS WHY I HAD PROBLEMS. APPLIED W/FINGERS BUT HAD TO BLEND WITH LIGHTLY DAMPENED SPONGE. USED RECOMMENDED PRIMER - YUCK. JUST TOO DRY FOR MY SKIN. WHO'D A THUNK! BECAUSE THIS IS HEAVIER COVERAGE YOU NEED TO BLEND WELL OR LINES OF DEMARCATION ARE VERY NOTICABLE. BEST RESULT FOR ME WAS TOTAL EFFECTS MOISTURIZER; WHILE STILL DAMP APPLY FOUNDATION W/FINGERS; BLEND QUICKLY WITH DAMP SPONGE. WILL TRY COVERGIRLS LIQUID VERSION BEFORE GIVING UP ENTIRELY ON THIS LINE. MAYBE I'M JUST GETTIN' TOO OLD. :(
OH! ALMOST FORGOT! ALTHOUGH DRY, I HAVE PRETTY GOOD SKIN FOR 65. NOTICED THAT AFTER USING THIS FOR A FEW WEEKS, MY SKIN WAS DRYER THAN EVER & SKIN TONE WAS BLOTCHY & MUDDY. I WOULD NEVER HAVE THOUGHT THAT POSSIBLE WITH OLAY AS A BASE. AND I *WOULD* RECOMMEND TO A YOUNGER FRIEND OR MY DAUGHTER ACCENTING WHAT I'VE WRITTEN HERE.

I'm 64 with combination skin that isn't wrinkling, and after using this for a month, I noticed that my skin was looking very old once I removed my makeup. It looked fine while wearing it, and I love the appearance, but will not use for other than special occasions when I want a more matte look.

I usually use only department store brand makeup, but this is the one exception I now make. Good coverage for mature skin and does a great job of covering wrinkles without empasizing them. You will need to cover with a powder or it will be greasy and come off easily.

This foundation is one of the best I have tried! It goes on easily; I use my fingers because I don't like using the enclosed sponge. The foundation stays on all day giving my aging complexion, I am 65, a nice smooth look. It doesn't stay on as well in the heat when my face becomes moist, so I carry the foundation with me if I am going someplace where I may want a touch up. The colors tend to run light; consider buying one shade that is darker than your complexion. Be sure to check the color you are purchasing. A friend and I purchased the same color, #245, and the color had an orange tint to it. We had to return the foundation. Because of swimming, I am quite tan during the summer. I use both #245 and #255 together which gives my face a tan color to match the rest of me.

Evens out skin tones and even hides rosecia. And yet you can't even tell it is on. I don't ever want to run out of this!

This makeup is easy to put on - however, I note that there is not much color from it.

I based my color choice on my normal shade, but this appeared lighter. Nice makeup...but now I wonder if next shade up would be a little too dark. Hate to spend to experiment. When I find out for sure...will definitely buy again

I love it .. I have combination skin and it lasted all day in Florida humidity ... didn't feel greasy and looked natural!!
