When I read the reviews and it said the top broke off at first use, I thought I would give it the benefit of the doubt. Well, it's true, Ladies, it breaks off at 1st use. But I still use it with a small brush to get it on. The product itself is good but the way they install the shadow needs to be greatly improved. My shadow stick was stuck to the top of the tube and to get it off, the whole shadow stick came with it. And my other one was just broken in the tube. Back to the Drawing board Guys or Gals!

i liked it when i first applied it but it faded and creased really bad after two hours.

I was expecting something at least a little similar to the iconic Clinique product, Touch Base for Eyes, which I used to use. It isn't. Packaging: plastic tube w/caps on each side- caps don't stay on, product gets dirty, mashed & dry enough to fall out of the tube, both sides. From the start. I am throwing this product out today. The drying of the product is as bad as its smeary, shrinking, difficult to control & way-too-sparkly texture. Don't buy this. for about $7 more buy the Clinique (& I'm a drug store girl)! Cover Girl: fix this, lower the price, improve quality control!

The color is nice, not to bold and not too boring. Applying it was easy and smooth but the lighter shade doesn't really show and stand out as much as the darker shade. Overall, nice look for the price.

I found it was too soft and breaks off in small pieces when applying. Very messy. Would not buy again

I recieved tis item as a gift to try and to review:
I used the product for dress up going out
it is very easy to apply and has fantastic colors
I just didn't like how easy it was to remove -- BUT it didn't affect the quality of the product at all
overall it is a GREAT product well worth the price and very deserving of the Cover Girl name

I loved this product! I'm a BzzAgent and I was recently able to participate in the CoverGirl Blast campagin. I was able to try out the Smoky ShadowBlast eyeshadow. The eyeshadow definitely goes on smoothly and covers better than most eyeshadows that I've ever worn. The first step using the rounded end felt like drawing with a big crayon. It felt nice and creamy on my eyelid though. The tapered end was easy to use as well. As long as you don't touch your eyelids or fuss at them, the shadow will last, but isn't this true for most eyeshadow??? I give this a big thumbs up! The bronze fire is the perfect color for blue eyes. I was worried that it might be too much for my pale skin, but it wasn't. Absolutely perfect and I can't wait to try the plum color next!!!
