I absolutely love this product as I have a redish tone to my skin and blemishes due to a skin condition called roseaca (unsure of spelling) Anyway, I could not get coverage from any other makeuup including the expensive stuff in the Department stores. I was in depression until I found this makeup. I find that it leaves no creases on my face as some have said but I have learned to apply it carefully and it lasts all day into the night if I do not touch my face or wipe it off somehow. First I use two colors to blend with my natural skin for a better look. I use natural beige and creamy beige first using sponge on one then lighly onthe other then dab it on a tissue to get off access then apply ...when I have done the entire face I gently wipe off areas where I have creases such as chin area, around the mouth etc. It takes off the first layer and leaves a nice smooth finish with coverage still staying on skin in those areas. I use the cover girl power in translucent medium when I am Florida and have more color and translucent light in the North. I pat the pad on power and shake off access then apply over the makeup and maybe that is the secret to staying on longer. I just get compliments all the time and they say I look alot younger than classmates my own age. I am 65 and look 55 I am told. Without the makeup I do not want to be seen. I am so pleased with this and will just be out of it if they ever do not make this product. It is application that makes the difference. Try it again and use my tips and you will be so pleased. This is so great.

I was looking for a light-weight foundation for everyday use during the summer months to replace my full-coverage liquid foundation. SInce I am very fair, this was difficult to find as most foundations are too dark for me. I was pleased with this product and found the color to work (could be a bit lighter, even, but works with the extra color I have in the summer.) The ivory shade is very hard to come by in stores near me. I use this alone over my SPF moisturizer. It offers light-to-medium coverage, and you can "layer" it over problem areas, but it is not going to give you the same coverage as a full-coverage liquid. I like that the sponge area has good ventilation to help the sponge dry out between applications, but I still switched out the sponge several times during the lifespan of this product to make sure I wasn't spreading any yuckiness on my skin. I did not have any problems with this causing breakouts, which is saying a lot because I am pregnant right now and my skin can be a bit crazy. This feels very light and is good when I am out on hot days, but it doesn't last as long as a liquid foundation. If I wear it to work, it really does stop "holding" my blush by the end of the day; it would be easy to re-apply/apply another layer, but I am too lazy to apply makeup more than once a day. For a solid to liquid to powder, this is the best product I have tried. It doesn't compare to liquid foundation for coverage or staying power, but if you are just looking for a little something on your skin, this would work well.

I have bought this product twice now from stores (not online) only because I needed something to help cover up blemishes from pimples. I apply my foundation first, then applied this product over blemishes and around my eyes. The good thing about it is, it is heavy enough to cover what you don't want people to see on your skin and blend well with liquid foundation. My problem with this product is that they don't make a shade light enough for my pale, fair skin. This product does clog my pores and eventually leads me to breaking out. Also after applying this foundation over my liquid foundation, I set it with powder. And besides what the product claims, it does leave creases on my face, especially around my eyes. I won't be buying this aquasmooth makeup again.
