I have been using Cover Girl Smoothers Concealer, Neutralizer, for years and cannot remember the number of times people have asked what it is that I use as a concealer around my eyes. I have dark spots on my eyelids from being out in the sun while pregnant and this covers the dark areas well and brightens the whole eye area. I use moisturizer before I apply this and then I go over it all with powder foundation.

This stuff has an unnatural color that looked pasty on me. This sort of covers the redness in my skin but doesn't last long. I thought this was going to blend in and look totally natural as if I wasn't wearing anything but instead it gave me a sickly pallor. When you rub it in enough to disappear, you lose all coverage. I really don't see how this color could look good on anyone who is still living. I did like the consistency of it. Perhaps I underestimated the amount pigment in my skin and thought I was fairer than I am and should have bought the medium instead. Still, it is not the lightness of the shade so much as the clay colored undertone that bothers me.

Every time someone sees me apply this they want to buy it and use it. Covers dark circles adequately and looks very natural.

I use this on pimples and other marks, and even though I got the lightest color, neutralizer, it would be yellowish on my skin. It provides nice, opaque coverage though. This is meant for dryer skin types because I have combo skin and I got oily with this mid-day. It did not last as long as I hoped, and I have already gone through this small tube.
