I use Bare Minerals and needed something to have in my purse to touch up during the day. This does the trick for me. It is light weight and controls shine perfectly. The application pad is not good, but what can you expect at that price? All in all, then I like it a lot.

I have blond hair with a medium complexion. I have used this product in Translucent Medium for years but lately have had trouble finding it. I have tried numerous expensive brands - some as good but none better. I am SO happy to find it here. Thank you Drugstore.com!

Sometimes I buy something else, also expensive brands, and will always go back to CG smoothers powder.

WOW!!!!!

What a wonderful rediscovery! I used this powder ages ago. I couldn't find it, so I thought it was discontinued, and switched to the Trublend in the silver compact. (Don't like loose powder as it goes on messy and blotchy, and foundation is messy, difficult and fake-looking.)

Well, the difference is like night and day! My skin no longer feels stretched, and I don't have to smear with the puff to even out the powder anymore. Now it goes on gracefully and beautifully. And this is because Smoothers Pressed has moisturizers that the Trublend doesn't.

And now as to the reason I use TRANSLUCENT: regular powder looks fake, plain and simple. I don't like seeing a mask in the mirror - gross! Translucent evens out red and olive tones, sets other makeup (concealer, eye, lip, blush) and lets my own skin shine through.

I am so thrilled to have reconnected with this powder again! Thank you Drugstore.com!

PS - I have relatively oily skin. Because this powder has its own moisture, it stays on top of my skin without being drawn into my pores. My face has been EXTREMELY clear since I started using it again! And, soft as a baby's bottom!
