Color is very close to my own skin. I find my skin still prone to shine, but it doesn't seem to increase break-outs. If I put it on too heavily, and then sweat (I live in south FL, after all), it will cake in creases, exactly the opposite of what I want - don't want to accentuate those little lines. But I just have to use a light hand when applying.

Not so great - what's with the cheap foam applicators? I would love if manufacturers would include a second foam applicator, or better yet, provide a proper applicator. The formula could control shine better, but one could use other products in addition to this one.

Three stars as it seems limited in skin types it would work for, and the poor applicator sponge. In addition, it does not control shine as well as I would like, requiring additional application throughout the day, which then tends to cake in creases.

Heartbroken when I discovered MaxFactor wasn't going to sell in the USA. Insulted when their website steered me toward Covergirl, which I avoid buying. But this formula seems almost identical to the MaxFactor product.

This might be good for back-up makeup, but not what I would use everyday. I got a terrible breakout from either this or a new toner I was using. It also grabbed every dry spot and clung to it. It wasn't very moisturizing and became cakey if you tried to blend it a little more. I used a water dampened sponge to apply it and that helped but it wasn't great. I am still on a quest for comact makeup that matches my skin tone and is worth a darn.

color was much darker than i had expected. my skin is very fair and from the picture i feel that i was misled.

Liquid powder is genius! Using liquid foundation with a separate powder not only takes longer but is much less natural looking. I am very fair-skinned and I was very surprised how well the natural ivory blended with my skin tone while covering my blemishes.

Doesn't dry to a powder finish and looks unnatural - like clay. I won't buy it again.

I liked the coverage but I have combination skin and I got an oily finish that didn't last long. If you have dryer skin, I guess it would be great but was too oily for me. It did give great coverage and looked fantastic but that only lasted an hour. It never did "dry to powder".
