I wanted to buy two $50 Cracker Barrel gift cards through drugstore.com because of a special mileage offer from British Airways. Along with other items I added them to my basket. There was NOTHING on the ordering page about any additional charges. When I went to check out there was a $9.90 "shipping surcharge" with no indication why. I called customer service and even they didn't know, but after checking they told me it was for the gift cards. It turns out that when you look at your shopping cart, they are segregated, it says how long until delivery, and in very small print it discloses the "shipping surcharge".

Charge what you want, but make it a lot more visible WHEN the item is added to the cart, and also at checkout at least show what the surcharge is for.

Needless to say, I cancelled my entire order because of this. I'll just buy my gift cards directly from crackerbarrel.com and not pay that ridiculous 9% surcharge!
