I have been using the Crest alcohol-free product line for a year now and I am very pleased. The only problem that I have ever had with them is that they can stain your teeth if not properly used! For those of you who intend to use this product after brushing, be sure to rinse your mouth out thoroughly prior to use. If you don't do that it will result in a costly dental bill for removing the stains! Aside from that this product is flawless!!! It does everything it advertises including 12 hour protection!!! For those who were not satisfied with the Refreshing Clean Mint flavor (the blue stuff) you will be surpised that this flavor is not intrusive. I would recommend this product to anyone because of its 12 hour protection, antiseptic capabilities without the burn, and chic design! Live like a king or queen, your body deserves it! Just about a week after I started using the product I noticed my bottom teeth had began to turn dark brown. A few days later my top teeth started getting stains as well. I don't smoke and only drink one cup of coffee a day, so I couldn't figure out why this was happening. Then about three weeks into use I had to have a tooth surgically removed. This wasn't the first time I had this procedure done, but it was by far the longest and most painful recovery I have ever had. My gums, even on the opposite side of my mouth from the extraction, were WHITE and so sore I couldn't even eat soft foods without pain. This has been going on for almost six weeks now without any improvement. Unfortantley I have been using the mouthwash MORE thinking it would help ward off infection and speed up the healing process. Comments about Crest Pro-Health Rinse, Cool Wintergreen, 16.9 fl oz: A lot of people say that it has a bad taste...but I prefer wintergreen to the mint flavor, so if you don't like the taste of wintergreen don't get it! Anyways, the taste is fine, and I love this mouthwash because it does it's job and doesn't burn my mouth at the same time. I love Pro-Health because it prevents/reduces so many things like Plaque, Gingivitis, and most importantly, bad breath. You feel clean and fresh, without the burn. I recommend using Pro-Health toothpaste to add more effect. Also, it has not stained my teeth so I'm not sure why some people are having that problem. Within a few weeks, I developed these gross stains on my teeth that I could not remove. When I went for a dental cleaning, my hygeinist instantly knew that this product was the culprit. Cons Best Uses Comments about Crest Pro-Health Rinse, Cool Wintergreen, 16.9 fl oz: Check-ups greatly improved after using Pro-Health, but the "Night" version stained my teeth. Switched to "Wintergreen" which does not stain my teeth. Wintergreen contains yellow 6 and green 3. Night contains zinc lactate and sucralose. All other ingredients are identical. I'm thinking staining is caused by either zinc lactate or sucralose. My teeth are also stained by any toothpaste or mouthwash containing blue coloring. My wife uses all the stuff that stains my teeth with no staining. Everyones teeth must not react the same. The reviews on [...] may confirm this theory. Glad I found wintergreen.
