This product comes with a cap that snaps - not screws - on. If you alone use it and are willing to take the time to thoroughly clean off the cap and make certain it snaps shut each time after use, you will have no problem. But if other family members will use it, switch to something with a screw on cap. My husband always thinks he closes the cap, but it never snaps because there is toothpaste in the way that prevents a clean seal. As a result, the toothpaste oozes out onto the counter, drawer, or wherever it is stored. I've tried cleaning up the cap so it will snap shut, but it never stays clean or closed. It is very messy and irritating!

I am totally sold on this toothpaste. At 59, I've used many different toothpastes and "this" toothpaste actually makes me "want" to brush my teeth more. The taste is incredible. I pray they never discontinue it!

I've never used this toothpaste on a regular basis, since I use Colgate Total, however, my dentist gives me samples of this & sometimes I can't find Colgate Total samples, so I'll have to get this but I've never had any issues with this for the times that I have used it. I can't give it 5 stars, though, due to the fact that I don't know exactly how it would work if I were to purchase a 6oz. tube of it. I can comment on the taste, though, and at first, I thought it was gross but then I started to like it..it's different. I don't know about the tooth staining..I've never experienced any nor any peeling of the mouth from this. it seems to work well. it's ADA Accepted, so it must be okay for teeth.

I bought this toothpaste because it sounded really good, and I always like a whitening toothpaste. First of all, it tastes horrible. I'm surprised not many others have commented on it. Worse than that, it leaves a gross, sour aftertaste in my mouth. Yuck. It also doesn't seem to clean as well as other toothpastes, and I've never seen any improvements as far as whitening or really anything else. I stopped using it at first because I really didn't like it, and am only using it now because I ran out of my other stuff. Also, after reading other reviews on this, it seems it can cause some really bad effects - discoloring teeth, causing peeling inside the mouth. No thanks! I will NOT be using this again.

I have been using the ProHealth since it came out, and switched to whitening when it was made available. LOVE IT, I always had a build up of tarter on the back of my bottom front teeth between dentist visits, it was embarrassing, not anymore! Not only does this toothpaste prevent tarter build-up, it makes your teeth feel squeaky clean. Have not paid much attention to the whitening aspect, but love the way my teeth look and feel. Prefer the mint to the Cinnamon flavor. May be 'too harsh' for people who don't have tarter build-up issues with another tooth paste.

I have used this toothpaste for a very long time,as long as its been out.And while I was lucky enough not to get the staining that many are reporting,it has cause my gums to atrophy(shrink away),mouth to peel and become inflammed.All along I though it was just me.I highly suggest researching this toothpastes ingredients before buying,there is lots of recent info and millions of complaints available for review.
