My dentist recommended Sensodyne a few years ago,and it worked great for my sensitivity, but I didn't really like the taste. I saw Crest Sensitivity on the shelf and gave it a try. I loved it from the beginning. It also helps with my sensitivity - I don't hardly notice it anymore AND it tastes great and makes my mouth feel fresh. Not sure if it was a reaction to the whitening ingredients or the whole formula but I've never had a reaction like I had to this not even with regular toothpastes including other crest brands. Talked to my dentist and they said this can happen to some people and my hygienist herself said some brands always trigger almost exact symptoms I described. Like every tooth on front area tops and bottoms set off with continious pain like sparking almost in effect. Not pleasant and took quite a while to calm down. I could be allergic to something in this paste and it might be fine for others. I went right back to the original brand that's been the standby for years. And I'm fine now. Best Uses Comments about Crest Sensitivity Toothpaste, Clinical Sensitivity Relief, Extra Whitening / Clean Mint, 4.1 oz: I needed to whiten my teeth but due to having sensitive teeth i can't use whiteners. so i'm always trying any toothpaste for sensitive teeth that is supposed to whiten as well. none actually did until i tried this one. it whitens alright, but it makes my teeth very sensitive :(. Comments about Crest Sensitivity Toothpaste, Clinical Sensitivity Relief, Extra Whitening / Clean Mint, 4.1 oz: I have used this product daily for over 10 years since my teeth became sensitive to cold foods and drinks. I prefer the clean mint toothpaste, because I don't care for the same toothpaste with scope. I won't use any other product! Comments about Crest Sensitivity Toothpaste, Clinical Sensitivity Relief, Extra Whitening / Clean Mint, 4.1 oz: Hands down the WORST toothpaste I've used. It does NOTHING....and it certainly does not clean teeth the way Colgate total does. I'm going back to that. It also does not help sensitivity. Junk. Pros
