I'd tried commercial brands and found that they either wore off, irritated my skin, or left stains on shirts. I've been using Crystal products for years and I never have to worry about odor while using them. I'm not looking for a product that will block perspiration, since perspiring is healthy. This just effectively neutralizes bacteria on the skin and thus, prevents odor. Then it worked great for several weeks, and I had almost zero body odor unless I was doing heavy exercise or it was extremely hot and humid outside. I also noticed that I did sweat a bit more since I switched to a natural deodorant, but not profusely and it was never noticeable except to me. Now, almost 1-2 months later, I've noticed that it's stopped working! I notice during the day that I have a body odor to the point where I have to wash my armpits during the day for fear of other people noticing (and I have to keep my arms down). I have no idea why it stopped working and am so disappointed! I hope I don't have to switch back to a deodorant with aluminum, but those were the only ones that worked for me (I just wanted a natural deodorant). Comments about Crystal Body Deodorant Roll-On, 2.25 oz: Used the rock version for a few years, and opted to try this for my swim bag which would be easier since harder to get wet in the locker room. Was pleasantly surprised that this one is way more effective for me in controlling odor over the course of the day. I'll be switching to this version for home too. Goes on easy, dries fast. Only complaint is you need to be a little patient getting the rollerball to have product on it. Pros

Anyway, I've searched high and low for a natural product over the years for him and finally found one that doesn't have aluminum chlorohydrate and yet is effective on sweat and odor. I found Crystal at least ten years ago and have not found a better product on the market for him since that doesn't burn his underarm area. He will only use this product. It is very difficult to find since very few stores or pharmacies carry it anymore. Thank goodness I found it here and for less money! I hope drugstore.com never runs out of it! Pros

After using this I haven't noticed any irriration, it works okay on BO, I don't think it will give you the protection at the gym, but commutting on a train or bus and walking into work, you'll be fine all day! Comments about Crystal Body Deodorant Roll-On, 2.25 oz: I tried this product as a sample and found I really liked it. I wasn't sure I wanted to go back to a roll on but this dries quick and is easier to use than the Crystal stick. It works better for me than many popular non-natural products. Pros

Comments about Crystal Body Deodorant Roll-On, 2.25 oz: Like the fact that this doesn't irritate the skin and contains no nasty chemicals. provides good protection...occasionally wish it lasted longer in high stress situations , but as far as natural products go its pretty good. Liked it better than Arm & Hammer.
