My daughter started her colicy/fussy stage at about 2 weeks. After being on prevacid for two weeks, she was better but still not very happy. After one day on Culturelle, she was a different child. Sadly, I switched to the Bio Gaia infant drops for two weeks - and she went back to fussy. I switched back to the Culturelle diary-free packets and she is happy all the time. It is a lifesaver in my house. I am breastfeeding so I just drop a packet in her first bottle of the day along with her prevacid. I am weaning her off prevacid and she is still doing great. She is 2 1/2 months now and even when she is fussy for another reason - she is much easier to console because of the Culturelle. I love my happy baby and the extra rest I get because of this product. I recommend to every mother with a colic-y baby.

Works Wonders!

My son has had gas issues since the day we brought him home. Ped and others could only recommend gripe water/mylicon. Gripe water worked better than mylicon, but I stopped buying the water bc it didnt prevent gas just helped it come up. It is expensive and we went through one bottle every few weeks. After months of sleepless days and nights I just wanted something to cure the problem!
I saw a tv commerical for culturelle and decided to try it.
Within a week of giving my son this he started to take proper naps - no waking up 15, 20 or 30 minutes with gas! And once his naps got in order it became 1000x easier to get him sleeping at night.
Lest I think it was my imagination, Ive been out of culturelle for about 3 weeks and started noticing him waking up with gas and taking long to settle down at night again.
Culturelle is expensive, but with my son it seems as if he will have to take it until out of the toddler stage!
I don't know exactly what my son has, but I know this has helped him to finally sleep uninterupped from gas pain!
I gave it a perfect score now, I just hope that I dont have to keep buying this thing forever!
