I was admitted to the hospital with an intestinal infection and horrible bacterial imbalance. My doctor prescribed Culturelle for me while I was in there, and I also got it as a prescription when I was released from the hospital. I was surprised to see that it was available over the counter! If it's good enough for the hospital to give it to me, it's got to be good enough for anyone. I am taking it twice daily as per the doctor's orders. I notice no bad side effects at all. I trust this product because the two doctors that were working with me (one was an internist, and one was an infectious disease specialist) both wanted me on this product.

I purchased this item after a lot of research. I'd read that you should always open a capsule of probiotics to make sure that the bacteria is still alive. When the box arrived, I opened a capsule and found it full of clumpy, yellow balls. I called Culturelle and they said this appearance meant the bacteria was already dead and that the pills were useless now. Drugstore.com sent out a replacement, but it was from the same lot and also full of dead probiotics. I returned everything for a full refund. Probiotics need to be kept refrigerated; they simply do not have the shelf-life that the boxes claim.

I take one a day on an empty stomach to alleviate alternating diarrhea and constipation from Irritable Bowel Syndrome. What a relief!

I have tried several different brands of probiotics and they all seem to work the same. This was recommended by Dr. Oz.
It seems to keep me regular.
I had a bad diarrhea problem that cleared up after taking the probiotics.

I feel it's great for me and would recommend it.
It helps keep the side affects from the Anti-biotic in the stomach and colon way down to gone....I don't get the belly aches with the medicine like I did before....Use it 3 hours from or more from the time you take your anti-biotic.... pharmacist said to try that.... It worked great for me....

I use Culurelle to promote regular bowel movements. I started taking it after I started taking iron supplements which can be constipating. One pill each morning does the trick with no side effects. I am very pleased with the results.

I've been using this product for 9 days and it started working immediately. I'm a 47 year old who has never been regular (BM every 4 days or so) and always had gas and bloating. I keep this product in the fridge and take 1 capsule at night. I've had a BM every morning and no longer feel bloated or have extreme gas. I can't believe I suffered for so long. This product really works!!!!
