I use them just prior to injecting insulin, and they work well enough for that, but they have recently changed these from a cottony-type material, to this slipperier material. I noticed it right away...completely different feel. It slides open; I've adjusted my grip to compensate, and the new material seems to hold the alcohol just as well as the old cottony material, but I liked the old material better.

These are the worst. Sure, it is convenient to carry individual alcohol wipes. However, the quality of this brand it atrocious. I buy individually wrapped alcohol wipes all the time because I have a child with diabetes. This brand is thin and dry compared to other brands (including store brands) that cost less.
These swabs work great for injection sites. But if you are looking to "take a bath with them " I don't think these are for you. I can leave an open package for 15 mins and come back and it will still be wet. I have used several different kinds from BDs to store name brand and for the money these are the best!
As handy & effective as any other alcohol pad, but at a better price. Why pay more? I luv these things to disinfect earring posts, plus many other uses.
I use these frequently on my skin and objects in the house. Helps prevent and clear up minor infections, and less messy than using cotton balls and bottled alcohol. Great for quick cleaning of cuts, though I would expect children to cry from the sting.
Like most products lately, changes have been made to keep the price relatively constant, but the Curad swabs are now thinner and hold less alcohol, so they dry out faster. Also, the packaging is flimsier. The price is right for [$], but not as good a value as they once were.
