I bought 12 boxes. They stay put, but come off easily when you want them to. The glue on the bandaid is hypo-allergenic for those with sensitivities to adhesives...they are simply the best! Also, I was able to buy them at buy one get one free, ( but I wish it would have been disclosed that there was a limit of 5 free boxes). Otherwise, I was very pleased with Drugstore.com[...]. I'll be shopping here again. VS Most Liked Negative Review Product completely changed; terrible now Make no mistake: this is NOT the product we all used to buy and like. Curad has completely redesigned the materials. What used to be firm, but elastic fabric is now cheap, thin, and flimsy. The adhesive was changed and does not stick once the bandage is applied, so it unravels within a few minutes of application. However, it sticks very well to another adhesive-coated surface; these bandages are so thin that they often fold back upon themselves the moment the backing strip is pulled off, making them very difficult to put on. I am sure that Curad's profit margin has increased dramatically, since the new design is so cheaply made. Unfortunately, it is no longer worth the expense of[$] for 20 bandages. I use up four or five where one used to be enough. REVIEWS Reviewed by 55 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » Pros

Comments about Curad Extreme Lengths Bandages, 20 ea: Over time, this product has changed. When I first started using these bandages, they were the best thing I ever used. I get cracked fingertips right around the fingernail. Regular bandaids fall off because you can't get the pad on the crack and have the adhesive portion on the finger. The long bandages allow you to wrap the end of the finger and then wrap again to make it stick. The first version I tried worked the best. Next, they made the bandages more elastic and as you removed the backing, you had to be extrememly careful not to allow the bandage to snap back and have the adhesive from one end touch the adhesive from the other end. If that happened, it was impossible to pull it apart. You had to discard the unused bandage and start over with a new one. Then they changed them again: The latest version is a bit easier to use, but doesn't stick as well. Sometimes the ends peel away while wearing.

Comments about Curad Extreme Lengths Bandages, 20 ea: The original a few years ago was better sticking, it had latex adhesive (said it on the box)the new product is good but not nearly as good as original. I would pay double for the original product Please offer both.

Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about Curad Extreme Lengths Bandages, 20 ea: Yetta from San Diego, CA is right. I spent numerous days corresponding with Medline who now owns the brand. The older much better bandages lasted much longer. Found out they were made in Spain, but now they are made in China[*] have diminished in quality. They used some marketing result excuse to justify manufacturing a lower quality product to make more money off of the consumer. Those who have given very high ratings on this item have forgotten, never known or used the older product manufactured in Spain. I actually have the old and the new ones on hand and compared their performance side by side, there is a very stark difference in the performance. The new bandages made in China fall off where you have to work at removing the older ones manufactured in Spain. I can't recommend these bandages with the company's claims printed on the product box and the bandages not able to perform to those claims and original manufacturing.

Best Uses Comments about Curad Extreme Lengths Bandages, 20 ea: As noted above, these are great for the cuts or burns I get on my fingertips, they really stay put. On my knuckles though, they only stay put for a few hours. That was my main reason for buying them so I'm not satisfied. The search continues.
