Working in stained glass, you get a lot of cuts...Extreme lengths is the best bandaid we've found...and they are DIFFICULT to find..that's why I was so pleased to locate them at Drugstore.com. I bought 12 boxes. They stay put, but come off easily when you want them to. The glue on the bandaid is hypo-allergenic for those with sensitivities to adhesives...they are simply the best! Also, I was able to buy them at buy one get one free, ( but I wish it would have been disclosed that there was a limit of 5 free boxes). Otherwise, I was very pleased with Drugstore.com[...]. I'll be shopping here again.

Make no mistake: this is NOT the product we all used to buy and like. Curad has completely redesigned the materials. What used to be firm, but elastic fabric is now cheap, thin, and flimsy. The adhesive was changed and does not stick once the bandage is applied, so it unravels within a few minutes of application. However, it sticks very well to another adhesive-coated surface; these bandages are so thin that they often fold back upon themselves the moment the backing strip is pulled off, making them very difficult to put on. I am sure that Curad's profit margin has increased dramatically, since the new design is so cheaply made. Unfortunately, it is no longer worth the expense of[$] for 20 bandages. I use up four or five where one used to be enough.

You can no longer buy these in the stores, only over the internet. They are extra long so the bandage stays on much longer than those little short ones. Recommend it for any kind of cut and it stretches as well.

Am a gardener, so appreciate the way these extra long bandages wrap around finger joints and back over tip of fingers to keep in place and keep wounds clean so I can continue to work in the soil.

These things stick when all other bandaids do not. My wife and I both had a hard time keeping bandages in place when we had to use on feet/hands or any other place that sweats or gets wet. I tried these and all the problems went away. I keep the extreme ones on hand all the time now, and as part of my first aid kits.

Great for use when regular band aids won't cut it. I get cuts on my fingers a lot but working in a hospital I have to keep them covered, regular band aids don't reach or won't stick these do.

I hate band aids on my fingers because having large hands they don't reach around and end up falling off or I have to use 2. These reach and stay in place which alleviates having to use two and piece them together. Love them will definitely use them from now on.

These are extra long so can be wound around a cut or wound a least twice. Hate those skimpy short ones that fall off almost as soon as you put them on. Also, these cannot be found in any stores I shop anymore so when I found them here, I was very happy. Great for any kind of cut or wound and they stay on!

Comments about Curad Extreme Lengths Bandages, 20 ea:

Over time, this product has changed. When I first started using these bandages, they were the best thing I ever used. I get cracked fingertips right around the fingernail. Regular bandaids fall off because you can't get the pad on the crack and have the adhesive portion on the finger. The long bandages allow you to wrap the end of the finger and then wrap again to make it stick. The first version I tried worked the best. Next, they made the bandages more elastic and as you removed the backing, you had to be extrememly careful not to allow the bandage to snap back and have the adhesive from one end touch the adhesive from the other end. If that happened, it was impossible to pull it apart. You had to discard the unused bandage and start over with a new one. Then they changed them again: The latest version is a bit easier to use, but doesn't stick as well. Sometimes the ends peel away while wearing.

All of that said; they are still the only long bandage I have found and I still recommend them to everyone because they are extrememly useful.

I long for the quality of the past, but I doubt the company will enhance the product.

                    Curad Extreme Lengths Bandages

                     – Wearing a bandage is an essential part of keeping germs at bay and reducing the risk of infection after you get a cut, but many individuals find it difficult to make a traditional bandage stick to their fingers and stay in place for an extended period of time. Curad Extreme Lengths Bandages are extra-long and designed to provide unbeatable hold, so they will stay put for longer and protect your wound while it heals.

                    Company History and Innovations

The Curad brand of first aid supplies is owned by parent company Medline Industries. Its goal is to provide home healthcare products for the entire family, ranging from everyday bandages to hospital-quality gauze. Medline has been manufacturing medical supplies for hospitals and consumers for over a century and is one of the largest distributors in the country today. Curad always stays on top of the latest technological innovations, and its unique products set the brand apart from competitors.

Protect Yourself with Curad Extreme Lengths

Bandages are one of the most important tools at your disposal when it comes to home first aid. Their sterile cotton gauze covers your wound and keeps out the dirt and germs that can lead to infection. Unfortunately, the adhesive strip that holds traditional bandages in place often isn't long enough to effectively wrap around many people's fingers. Curad Extreme Lengths Bandages have a longer adhesive, which can wrap around your finger twice in order to keep your bandage secure. The heavy-duty fabric in these bandages is designed to be used on hardworking hands, and it provides strong protection and increased durability. Finally, Curad's sure-stick adhesive keeps your bandage sticky when you need it to be but is easy to remove when you're ready to take the bandage off.
