I have a keloid scar on my chest that is as wide as pencil and as long as your two front teeth. I've been using this for at least 8 years because my scar is scar tissue that continues to grow. It's becoming flatter and smoother. I can't live without this product until my scar is gone. It no longer hurts. It's no longer red. I use it daily. Cut to the size of your scar and apply. Wash it with soap and water daily. VS Most Liked Negative Review it's a sad, sad, day... Comments about Curad Scar Therapy, Silicone Pads, 21 ea: This product is much harder to use than the original version which worked very well, and it does not stick as well. Too soon for me to say whether it will work, but so far, I have been disappointed.

Best Uses Comments about Curad Scar Therapy, Silicone Pads, 21 ea: I bought this product in 2005 to help my hypertrophic scar after I had knee surgery. Back then, the sheets were nice, thick, sturdy, and sticky. They were easy to cut and easy to apply. They stuck nicely on the skin and lasted through showers and exercise, even on my knee which is obviously very mobile. Because they stayed on, scar reduction/improvement became visible quite quickly.

Comments about Curad Scar Therapy, Silicone Pads, 21 ea: Sometimes it starts peeling off but for the most part remains in place. I do notice a difference in the scar.

Best Uses Comments about Curad Scar Therapy, Silicone Pads, 21 ea: This is one of the first products I tried when my surgeon suggested silicone strips several weeks after surgery. My scars are so long that numerous strips had to be used at a time and they could only be used one day and then thrown away. This gets expensive. These strips are like clear plastic and refuse to stay on my skin. I was constantly reattaching and trying to tape on. This was not worth the hassle. The more expensive, but washable fabric backed silicone strips are a much better product.

Best Uses Comments about Curad Scar Therapy, Silicone Pads, 21 ea: I tried these for my scar to save a few dollars , did not help, very uncomfortable to wear. Does not appear to be any silicone on the tape. it looks and feels like plain tape. Ordered another softer fabric brand that feels much better and has helped soften my scar in just this last week.
