I have struggled with dry, itchy skin for most of my adult life. My legs in particular get extremely itchy from September-April. This product immediately stopped the itching and keeps me itch free for 24 hours. I am amazed at how well and how quickly this worked for me and am so grateful for the relief from extrememly itchy skin. I am looking forward to spending this winter without scabs on my legs. I recommend this to anyone who is dealing with dry, itchy skin.

It definately helps with the itching, quickly. It's nice that its unscented because I use it on my face as well. It absorbs very well.

I grew tired of using steroid creams on skin flare-ups, so I tried this on a whim. So glad I did! Flare-ups calmed down, skin tone improved, and no itching. Love this lotion. Knocked off a star for no SPF.

I had been using the regular old Curel for a while, and when I ran out I tried out the plain Aveeno and the skin on my hands took a turn for the worse. I've had my eczema under control for a while now, and I can get the occasional minor flare up if something sets it off, but while using the Aveeno my skin would get red, itchy flare ups at random. I switched to this lotion and in one day I can already tell the difference it has made. The little red bumps have calmed down, my skin hasn't been aggravating at all today, and I don't have any dry patches between my fingers where I usually get them. To top it all off, the lotion smells faintly of oatmeal, which I seem to like. People with eczema respond differently to different creams, but this seems to be doing fine for me.

I used and reviewed Aveeno Eczema Therapy for my baby's mild to moderate eczema in early spring. Well after discovering Curel Itch Defense and giving it a try—Aveeno was such a blessing after a tough first winter last year but after a while didn't seem to work as well—I haven't looked back. Nothing else I tried worked as well, Vanicream, Cerave, Aquaphor, coconut oil, shea butter and oils I hadn't even heard of before eczema. I even made my own moisturizer at one desperate point. All were ok but nothing softened her skin like Curel. I now moisturize 2x a day unheard of in winter/spring when I was moisturizing 1x or 2x an HOUR and still fighting dry skin! Eczema consumed me but now I can start to breathe a little. I did give in and started to use steroids and then later Atopiclair but I am convinced for moisturization, nothing worked like this lotion. I will only use this and am not even looking anymore. Now it's Curel twice a day (maybe once more on the odd dry patches if necessary) steroid and Atopiclair when necessary. MUCH less itchy baby, happier mama!

As far as itch defense and designed for eczema, forget it and don't waste your money. This product burns and by no means has helped my skin.

I get itchy dry skin in all 4 seasons, so I purchased this lotion and my itchy dry skin feels SO much better! :)

This worked when hydrocortisone products did not. I am having an unusually hard time with extremely dry skin this winter (in Maine) and nothing worked to relieve the itching like Curel Moisture Defense. I will never be without it.
