I no longer need a dozen different lotions and creams for my dry, scaly, itchy skin. This lotion does it all! From my head to (literally!) my toes, I use this cream. I love that it is steroid-free, and still works on my itchiest skin patches, AND is light enough to use all over after showering. I am in love with this lotion!

I live in a very dry climate and this is the only lotion I've found that moisturizes without being greasy AND calms the itchiness immediately.

I have very dry skin, and very itchy skin. This does not help the itch, and seems to really aggravate the condition of my skin. It's really pricey for a lotion thats so greasy, I would not recommend this lotion. All of Curel lotions are greasy and NOT WORTH THE PRICE! I bought 1.00 lotion that works better than this or any other curel lotion.

Like many others, I struggled with excessively itchy skin on my legs, particularly my lower legs. I would scratch until I bled- I actually couldn't wear shorts or skirts for several months, it was so embarrassing. I dont have insurance so i was determined to diagnose and treat this problem on my own, without the aid of a prescription. I live in Florida so it wasn't due to winter weather, and I tried altering so many different dietary and other variables that may be the cause (iron deficiency, gluten allergy, yeast infection in the follicles, etc) and nothing worked. Finally in my research, I came across info about unbalanced lipids in the skin and I thought I'd give it a try. Within 2 days of twice daily application (after the shower and before bed), the itching had stopped! Within about a week, my legs were healing up nicely and I had normal skin again and could wear something besides pants! It really improved the quality of my life. I can't recommend this lotion enough. Ive been using it for about 2 months now and I only need to use it once a day. If you are like I was, and at your wits end with the scratching, please try this lotion. You'll be glad you did!

From the very first time I used the itch defense lotion i was blown away with it. Never had I gotten the results like this before. Not even the medicated cream from the dermatolgist helps as much as this stuff does. I am so excited I believe I will have regluar skin under a week with it and my excema is pretty bad and constant. The price made me a bit leery on buying it but I'm very glad I went ahead and tried it.

Maybe there is something wrong with me, but this lotion seems to do the opposite of what it says! I have terrible eczema on my arms and hands, and when I find a brand I like, I stick with it. I have been in love with Curel for years and have been using the Ultra Healing lotion for a long time. When I saw that they made an "itch defense" specifically for eczema, I thought it would be even better for me. Apparently not. For some reason, when I rub it on dry skin, my eczema starts tingling and itching and burning! It's so red and it's worse than it's been in a long time.
I am not sure if it's definitely the lotion or if there's something else wrong with me, but all I know is I have not been seeing any overall reduction of itching or flare-ups, even though I've been sticking with this and applying it after showering. Nothing seems to make a difference. I was hoping this would be a nice thing to use daily in lieu of cortizone cream, which I can't always afford. Very disappointed. I certainly hope I can figure out why this isn't working for me, but until then, I might just switch back to Curel Ultra Healing. If you have a good thing, don't bother changing it.

My skin gets very itchy in the winter. This really works. It took a couple of days to kick in but I am not itchy anymore. I apply it once a day, and I do it after shower. This is a bit heavy so only use on affected area. And use a light lotion for the other part of body. I also like that it doesn't have a strong scent.

It's an OK product but I was a little disappointed in the texture. Does not seem to be an "all over" type of body lotion.

WONDERFUL LOTION!

I've tried MANY lotions & creams in search of quenching the dry itchy skin of my lower legs. None have succeeded - they left me either equally dry or uncomfortably greasy or sticky. Or the relief would last for only a couple hrs.

So I didn't believe this lotion would be any better until my sister bought it for her 5 yr old son who has very itchy patches of skin on his thighs. So I tried it on my legs & it was amazing! The RELIEF is instant & very long lasting - the itch hasn't returned for 3 days after the 1st application.

This lotion trumps all other lotions on the planet. Gotta have it!
