I like the light, clean texture of this gel. No stickiness. No crunch head. I like to mix it with the pomade for softer feeling curls that lock at the ends. My only complaint is that it can flake, especially on the ends of my long, curly hair. Looks like a fine dust which isn't very noticeable, but hey, It's right next to my face so I see it. I use the shampoo, rinse out conditioner, control gel, texturizing mist, and pomade.

Overall product wasn't too bad, it did a good (not great) job of holding hair down and keeping most frizz out especially in a hot, humid environment. It's light and light-smelling, however, it did leave some flaking in my hair.

I have thick, wavy hair, and this gel does almost nothing to define my curls or prevent frizz. The hold is very minimal. However, my toddler's curly hair is much finer than mine and it works well for her. I do like that the smell is light and the gel doesn't leave hair crunchy. Unless you have fine or thin hair, this probably isn't the right hair product for you.

Although my hair is generally straight, there are sections with very stubborn waves and curls. This product is compatible with both kinds of hair, and isn't heavy or greasy.

This is one of the few products that defines and brings out my curls well and it's light and not greasy at all. I have the pomade as well, but I usally skip it and just put on this gel after washing my hair. Lot of people thought I had a perm. My hair can be frizzy esp during the humid weather. This gel controls some of that frizz. I wish it can control all the frizz and adds some shine as well though. Overall, I am happy with it!

Love it! Will be buying other products from this company to see if they are as perfect. I use this first, then a curl hold product. Keeps my curls happening but not too stiff.

This gel helps to control my frizz in humid South Florida. I can use a lot of it (which I have to) without it making my hair look greasy or weighted down. I prefer this gel over several other competing products marketed for curly hair that I have tried.
Apply a dime-sized amount to palm of hands. If very humid use a quarter-sized amount. Rub into hands & massage into wet hair. Start at the ends & work up to roots. Comb through using a wide toothed comb.
