I didn't understand it at first but the second time I got it. It says to stay in 4 days. I let mine stay in for a month at a time. I just brush them 2 x a day and soak them over night. This is not an adhesive. It is a liner that moldes to the fit of your mouth and hardens that way. And the suction makes it stay in place. Mind never come out by accadent and I don't have to use any of the nasty pasts or powders. This is th only thing that I will use. I have been using it now for 4 years and no one but my husband knows I havce dentures. Give it a try and youll love it. Even after bone implants I still have nothing to hold bottom dentures. No more. It does burn a little and it takes a little time to learn to use. I haven't been able to get it to work on top denture, but it was not much of a problem. I'm just happy I can eat and only have to replace Cushion every four days! Best Uses Comments about Cushion Grip Thermoplastic Denture Adhesive, 1 oz: Product dries hard and does hold up to overnight soaking. The hardness makes it easy to remove denture and rinse mouth after eating but requires a hot water rinse to soften adhesive enough to allow it to form back to the shape of your mouth.. Does not collect food particles as other denture adhesives do. Pros
Cons
Best Uses Comments about Cushion Grip Thermoplastic Denture Adhesive, 1 oz: SERVES THE PURPOSE Pros
Cons
Best Uses Comments about Cushion Grip Thermoplastic Denture Adhesive, 1 oz: Having tried Cushion Grip several times, because it sure does make denture-wearing a lot more comfortable, the stuff is useless. I have tried it in every way possible--letting it sit awhile after applying, letting it sit overnight after applying, inserting dentures immediately after applying, and even applying another paste over top of Cushion Grip just to get dentures to stay put. I've applied it thin and I've applied it thick. Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Cushion Grip Thermoplastic Denture Adhesive, 1 oz: I always want to have this on hand. I don't use it all the time, but quite often when I have the need for it. It goes on easily, does the job, and is removed easily. I don't find anything that I can say isn't great about it. It fits my needs. Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Cushion Grip Thermoplastic Denture Adhesive, 1 oz: It didn't hold my dentures in place. They remained loose and I was unable to chew. It's time consuming to remove, I'll stick to the pastes. My gums felt like they were on fire as soon as it made contact with my mouth. It did go away several minutes after I removed them. Don't waste your money on this product. Pros
Cons
Best Uses Comments about Cushion Grip Thermoplastic Denture Adhesive, 1 oz: I sure wish Cushion Grip worked, because it feels so nice against the gums. But it's not an adhesive, as claimed on the package. I could just barely use it so long as I never ate anything. But as soon as I bite down on any kind of food at all, my dentures fall out. Cushion Grip just doesn't work, and I've tried it out in every possible recommended way--from waiting longer for it to dry after application to waiting a few hours before even trying to eat anything. In any event, neither of those things is desirable in a serious denture paste. I've even used Cushion Grip as a base, atop which I've put Fixodent. That works alright, but then try removing the Cushion Grip after a month or two of doing that. It took me three hours to get out the old Cushion Grip and several fingernails were sacrificed in the process. Sadly, Cushion Grip is good for absolutely nothing. And it's way over-priced too. Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Cushion Grip Thermoplastic Denture Adhesive, 1 oz: This stuff is not messy and short lived like other denture adhesives. Thermo grip is more like a soft reline than a fixative. And it lasts much longer than they say. Weeks, in fact. Anybody can do it, even me! Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Cushion Grip Thermoplastic Denture Adhesive, 1 oz: Did not work for me. Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Cushion Grip Thermoplastic Denture Adhesive, 1 oz: After several years and many dentist appointments my third? full upper and second part lower still do not fit well. (I am handicapped and it is a real hardship to get to the dentist) The lower DOES fit better but, the upper plate (no matter what I have used to hold them in place) becomes loose in several hours and even less if, I have to chew anything. I found this product while trying to find a different gripper (I had been using Fixodent both powder and cream and found that all their denture products contain zinc) I also found that I am allergic to the goo that the dentist used to help do the same type of cushioning before making a new plate. GLAD I FOUND THIS PRODUCT!!! The first time was a little iffy making sure I followed the instructions exactly. I WANTED IT TO WORK!! And, IT DOES!! I still have to use the Poligrip FREE Cream but, it lasts much longer TIP: I use a sharp hooked sculpting utensil from an art or craft store (one of the Kemper Tools)to remove the Cushion Grip. This one is hooked on one end so it does not scratch the denture but, it makes it easier to remove it. This helps LOTS! Comments about Cushion Grip Thermoplastic Denture Adhesive, 1 oz: Not using right maybe dose not seem to harden up |
