I have to wear this product during the summer months, cant step out into the backyard without it. They know when I am coming out, waiting on me. They must like something about me. My husband loves to stand besides me whenever we are in the backyard or at the beach, because he says the mosquitoes will not bite him, they'll come to me. And its never too late to spray on because this product also soothes the existing bites.
I dont care for the smell to much, and it is a bit greasy, not to bad though, I bought it for its low percentage of deet 7%, and it works pretty good for me, but if you are a big outdoors person, you may want to get something with higher deet.
This had a wonderful smell and was very easy to apply, nice sprayer, but didn't work as well as Natrapel, Repel, or higher Deet sprays. Nice for a few mosquitoes perhaps, but we live in the woods, so didn't work for us.
Ever since I found this product, maybe a decade ago, it's the only thing I use. DEET is something I need because everything else doesn't work for me, and I'm allergic to the protein mosquitoes inject under my skin so keeping them away is really important.
I've used it all over the world in humid climates (India, Asia, Africa, Miami, NY, Greece), and I love that it's a non-aerosol because it travels easily through the mail or in a suitcase. It's also quick and easy to apply under any circumstance, and the smell is easy on me and anyone in my company.
Also used it to keep ticks and leeches off while hiking in tall grass or wading through swamps, and successfully scared fleas off a fellow hiker when they were attacking her. Incredibly useful, versatile and effective.
I would prefer a repellent and sunscreen combo, but am at the mercy of only being able to have non-aerosol products shipped to an APO. I was pleasently surprised by this porduct. It really does feel clean - no more than spraying water on your skin. There's no harsh smell and it appears to be as effective as expected.

For outdoor use only Do not spray in enclosed areas. Hold can 6 - 8 inches from skin and clothing while spraying keeping sprayer pointed away from face. Slightly moisten skin. Use just enough repellent to cover exposed skin and/or clothing. Do not use under clothing . For maximum protection on skin, spread with hand after application. Do not spray directly onto face. Spray on hands first and than apply sparingly to face, avoiding eyes. Do not apply near eyes and mouth, apply sparingly around ears. Do not apply over cuts, wounds or irritated skin. Do not apply to sunburned skin. Do not apply to children's hands. Do not all children to handle this product. When using on children, apply to your own hands and put it on the child. Avoid over-application of this product. After returning indoors, wash treated skin with soap and water. Wash treated clothing before wearing it again. Will not damage cotton, wool or nylon. May damage synthetic fabrics, plastics, watch crystals, leather, painted or varnished surfaces. Use of this product may cause skin reactions in rare cases. If you suspect reaction to this product, discontinue use, wash treated skin and contact your local Poison Control Center. If you go to a doctor, take this product with you.
