This mirror is described as ideal for travel, but it is WAY too bulky and heavy. I was looking for something smaller and lightweight that could be packed easily. It also does not operate with batteries which could also be a travel dilemna.Another flaw is that The 10x mag is only option, have to be very close to see yourself in this mirror. I am returned the mirror and will be looking for something else to suit by needs.

The mirror is very nice and sturdy. I just took it on a trip to St. Croix in my checked luggage and it made the trip safety and is still just like new. I use it for putting on eyeliner and mascara, which I can see very well. The lighting could be alittle better, though. It doesn't hit the right spot.

This mirror is great for close-ups, but the light isn't quite strong enough. It is definitely not a travel mirror as it is too heavy to be practical for traveling. The mirror gets very hot when the light is on so it is hard to adjust it for different angles.
