When I dry off my skin does not feel greasy nor is my shower slippery like with other oil based scrubs. Even my boyfriend has fallen in love with it after I made him try it. Now I'll have to buy 2 at a time! But the price is great so I don't mind. The only thing is that the container may leak, although this has only happened with one container I previously ordered. Not bad! VS Most Liked Negative Review Not very scruby The sugar in this scrub is in flakes rather than granules as most sugar scrubs I've tried. I don't find that the flakes work well for exfoliating. Mostly they just fall right off the skin. The smell is quite nice and the oil base leaves the skin nicely moisturized without feeling greasy. Comments about de-luxe BAIN Hawaiian Cane Sugar Scrub, Amber Vanilla, 18 oz: You can feel the gentle exfoliating action of this scrub the first time it's used. I use it every time I shower or even when my feet feel tired. Something in this is invigorating as well. There is no need for a pumice stone now; this scrub is much gentler and easy to use. It's great for cuticles on hands and feet - no need to use tools or creams. Immediate results surprised me. It goes pretty fast if you use it every day, but my feet think it's worth it. The more I use it, however, the less I have to use at a time. Pros

Comments about de-luxe BAIN Hawaiian Cane Sugar Scrub, Amber Vanilla, 18 oz: Very Lovely Refreshing Scent. However, yes, it is quite "oily" and dangerous. I like the idea above where someone put an old towel in the bottom of the bathtub when using it. Yes, the sugar chunks are large and more ended up in the bathtub than on my body for scrubbing. Use another old towel to step out of tub onto so the oil does not stain your good bath rug. Bottom line ~ smelled nice, did it's job, but is dangerous and more is wasted than used. Pros

Comments about de-luxe BAIN Hawaiian Cane Sugar Scrub, Amber Vanilla, 18 oz: This has a nice scent, and lots of sugar grandules mixed with oil. I really went to town, and scrubbed my skin as hard as I could! After, my skin felt smooth, and soft after I rinsed it all off (no easy task). Scrub made tub very slippery, so I had to wash the bottom of tub w/soap and water to be able to stand up while washing it off . Pros

Comments about de-luxe BAIN Hawaiian Cane Sugar Scrub, Amber Vanilla, 18 oz: This product is EXTREMELY greasy but it does exfoliate and moisturize my skin very well. I have to be VERY careful when I use it in the shower because the floor does get very slippery. I don't use soap or lotion afterwards because I like the sheen and soft feel of my skin after using this in the shower. The smell is also very pleasant. I would always take a shower the next day (using regular soap) to unclog my pores and prevent pimples or acne from forming on my skin. Pros

Comments about de-luxe BAIN Hawaiian Cane Sugar Scrub, Amber Vanilla, 18 oz: It has nice aroma and leaves skin soft after using. Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about de-luxe BAIN Hawaiian Cane Sugar Scrub, Amber Vanilla, 18 oz: I love bath and body products, and I have used my fair share of scrubs. This is by far the worst scrub I've ever used! The sugar crystals are WAY too big, they are in the tub in a big puddle of oil (which doesn't solidify, even in the fridge), and it smells cheap and gross. The smell actually is a spot on dupe for Vanilla Fields, the stinky drugstore perfume from the 90's. Your shower will be coated in oil after this, and as a result the floor is dangerously slippery. Not to mention it's a huge pain to clean up all that grease and it's probably not good for your pipes. You'd be better off exfoliating with a belt sander and a bottle of crisco, that's how terrible this is. I can't help but think the people who gave this a good review must not use scrubs very often, or they would know this stuff is garbage! ![]() |
