When my husband and I started using it, we kept wondering what that "smell" was after we used it, not realizing it was the soap. That being said, we used all of it, and it did last quite a few months, which is why I gave it 2 stars. We also got used to the "smell" and don't even notice it anymore. It's a great bargain when on sale and a little goes a long way. Love this soap! I have bought it for family and friends to introduce them to this product.
