My hair tends to be dry, especially at the ends, so I do not shampoo every day. I use this conditioner like one would a shampoo, scrubbing my scalp with it (remember, like dissolves like). Without rinsing, I then clip my hair up and let the conditioner soak in for the rest of my shower. Without a good conditioner, I cannot get a comb through my hair. This conditioner leaves my hair smooth and nearly tangle-free. Once dry, my hair is smooth, shiny, and neither weighed down nor greasy. I got the free sample after ordering some things from this site so I figured I'd give it a try. First off, the smell was horrible. It smelt like dirt and herbs. After shampooing and conditioning it didn't feel all that bad until I took my hair out of the towel. My hair felt so waxy and heavy it was disgusting. I have normal hair so most shampoos/conditioners work fine with mine, but this was just terrible beyond belief. I had to go re shampoo it just to get the feeling out and it STILL felt waxy. Neither has the great rosemary mint smell I had found in previous products that I was trying to find. The conditioner is not nourishing at all and feels weird and cheap in your hair. It doesn't seem to do anything good for my hair at all, big waste of money.

I have fine straight hair, this conditioner makes my hair feel like straw. It doesn't rinse out, makes my hair impossible to brush and just feels disgusting like I need to wash it all over again. It feels like I put body lotion in my hair it is that bad. Would give 0 stars but it wasn't an option. Don't buy this.

First of all, it doesn't smell like the shampoo (which smells like Aveda) as I had expected it to. It has a clumpy consistency to it which means you use more than necessary. I purchased this when drugstore.com had their shampoo and conditioner for [$] which is very cheap. It also seems like it is inferior and was possibly sitting in their warehouse forever. It isn't even worth [$]

I have very thick, black, straight hair and this is the first conditioner that leaves my hair feeling nice and smooth after it is air dried. My scalp also feels refreshed, since I make sure I thoroughly massage the conditioner starting from my scalp to the tips of my hair. I have long hair and it is difficult to keep it healthy with watered down conditioners that are too thin to rejuvenate anything, so I like the thickness/heaviness of the conditioner. Service and delivery comments: Delivery is always prompt with drugstore.com, especially to deployed areas.
