I bought this soap on sale, but bought several kinds all at once. The combined smells nearly knocked me over - but on their own, they're pleasant in the shower and don't leave me feeling too dry or sticky. Exfoliates pretty well, but nothing lists it as a germ killer...so I don't use it for hands and feet.

My husband shaves his head daily and uses this soap's lather exclusively for all shaving needs. We tend to like things simple, and he HATES fragrances, but he loves this soap!

Years ago I found a package of this brand of soap at a discount store. I had been using glycerine soaps and baby laundry detergent because my legs had become a little itchy. This soap was glycerin, so I bought it.
If I remember correctly, it is triple-milled, so each bar lasts a long time. It lathers well. The scents and pieces of leaves, etc., in some of the bars remind me of "gourmet." I have read that some people do not like the scents, but I don't think they are that strong, and they don't stay on your skin. I do not think they are unpleasant, even the scents that aren't my favorite. I use all of them.
I use the soap for showering, and used it for handwashing until I started with a foam soap for that purpose. I've been using Savon De-Luxe for years now, and stopped using baby detergent years ago, also. I love this stuff and have given some of it to friends as gifts.

I became addicted SaVon De-luxe years ago and make sure I always keep it on hand. I love it in the shower but it makes for a great natural looking bath accessory for your soap dish, adds a nice natural aroma too!

The oatmeal bath is good for skin and it does expholeleate to a point. However, it is drying to my skin, but I use a moisturizer after my bath anyway. I will continue to use de-luxe SaVon Bar Soap for my bath.
