The description indicates that this shea butter product is 100% "pure". I really do like the lavender scent. However, lavender has been added to it so it is not "pure". Often if you go into health food places or beauty supply shops you may be fortunate to find truly "pure" shea butter. It is generally in the form of yellowish chunks. With that said, I would still buy this again. It does not have an overwhelming scent and it does help moisturize skin.

I purchased this product mainly for my husbands extremely dry skin. Of course I must try it and approve it first. It is a good product but somewhat hard to apply. I use it before or after the shower.

I have very dry skin on my hands, especially during the winter. In the past, I've tried products containing Shea Butter, but never found them more effective than anything else. They always disappointed. I decided to give full strength Shea Butter a chance. Couldn't be any worse, right?

Well, I can now say, de-lux Shea Butter not only works better than other products, it actually does what it says it will. And that is: Fix dry skin. My hands are not only moisturized immediately after application, they're still soft the next day. And to me, that's the real test. Temporary vs. long-term relief. Just wish I would have tried it sooner!

I just finished my tub of this stuff tonight and I scraped out every last bit in there. Great to use at night after the shower; it does take time to get absorbed into the skin but worth the wait. I really like that the ingredients list out just two things: shea butter and lavender oil!

I basically liked the product, but do not like that it is so solid it takes effort to soften it for use. I would have given it more stars if easier to apply.

The skin on my legs has always looked like snake skin and I thought that I would never be able to get rid of that dryness. But after one use of this product I could tell that it was well worth my money. I have been using this product for about four days now and it has left my snake skin legs feeling smooth and has greatly reduced the appearance of the scale like dryness. I only use this product after I get out of the shower but it lasts all day. I will be buying this product again.

This is a great moisturizer. It smells great. it is all natural. Living in a hot and dry climate as I do can really zap the moisture from your skin. I also suffer from mild eczema. De-luxe shea butter moisturizes my skin all day. The price is also very nice. I have seen other shea butters costing much more.

Perhaps I was naive when I purchased this, but I was expecting a creamy consistency for this body butter. I got this because it's more natural and paraben-free. However, I would definitely not have purchased it had I known that you had to warm it between your hands before applying, and even then it's horribly difficult to smooth over my skin.

Otherwise, it is very moisturizing and the lavender one smells just like it, without being strong and lingering for ages. I only removed one star because of the consistency that I was not expecting, which is not the product's fault. I, however, will not be using the rest and only wish I could return it.

I've used many brands & I love this, so pure & natural and it has a hint of lavender which makes me smile. I use it summer or winter. I take a pea size of the butter, smooth/melt it on my finger tips, & pat on my face. It is wonderful & it didn't cause any break-outs like those Regenerist & Avon products. The price is awesome too. I tell everyone I know about this. :)
