I use this product for at-home care because I'm prone to frequent build-ups of ear wax, and because it has come highly recommended by a couple of my doctors (my primary & my ENT). I did, though, find out yesterday that I had a double ear infection after an unusual failed attempt as using the drops, so it's important to know your body and see a doctor if you're still not feeling 100% cleared-out after utilizing the product. I allow 10 drops to sit for 10 minutes inside one ear at a time & keep my head tilted the whole time so the drops will stay in (it'll sound like rice krispies crackling in milk), and then I highly recommend using the rubber syringe that comes with the kit for post-irrigation of built-up/stuck-on wax using really warm water. I refill the syringe approximately six times in order to completely get all the wax out. Without the syringe, the process is only half done so buy the kit first for the syringe and then all you'll need is to buy a refill bottle of just the drops). I feel like a new person with new ears after using the product! Will always keep a bottle in the medicine cabinet and use weekly/monthly as needed. Great product.

I laid on my side with the clogged ear facing upwards and put 7 drops in my ear and I felt it running down into my head. I left it there for the recommended 10 minutes and there was light popping going on as the chemical reaction was taking place. It felt cool and strange at the same time. I liked how effective it was, because it felt like my ear was totally empty after I was done ! I felt like a new person and I could lay on that side without my ear plugging up. I just had a high amount of ear wax clogged in my ear.

It's a bit pricy but since you only use a little at a time it'll last a long time. That was my only complaint. To have an unclogged ear is worth it, though !

Works great the only thing is that after using it, it really makes my ears itch... I tend to go crazy spraying water in my ears to relieve the itching. :-)

My doctor always recommends I use Debrox for a few days before I have an ear lavage--and it really works well.

I tried this but that wasn't the problem that I was having with my ear. I'm sure it works fine if wax is your problem.

I found Debrox to be much more effective than Murine. They both use the same active ingredient, so the difference must be due to the inactive ingredients. I definitely recommend purchasing the Debrox earwax removal aid in conjunction with the blue bulb that squirts water to wash away any remaining Removal Aid and wax.
