Comments about Deep Steep Moisture Stick, Brown Sugar Vanilla, .5 oz:
Bought Deep Steep for the first time in Brown Sugar Vanilla. My drugstore.com search for lip balms led me to it, among other products. I was excited to read about a product that was paraben-free. And as I had never heard of Deep Steep, I went to their website, which said to "try it on chapped hands, lips, cuticles, heels or elbows. Apply liberally to windburn, sunburn, or any other dry spots the different seasons may bring." So this sounded like an all-purpose stick. However, when I put it on my lips (my original intention), it was GROSS. Not the texture, which was fine, but the scent/flavor. It was like tasting strong perfume from the 1970s. I wrote to the company, and the CEO wrote back saying that this is not intended for use on the lips. So even though their website says to use it on lips, I would just use something like this on dry spots on your body. If you can stand the scent, which is neither like vanilla nor brown sugar.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
