Ask a doctor before use if you have
chronic cough that lasts as occurring with smoking, asthma or emphysema
cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus)
Stop use and ask a doctor if cough lasts more than 7 days, cough comes back, or occurs with fever, rash, or headache that lasts. These could be signs of a serious condition.
If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use.
Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
My pediatrician recommended for my 22 month olds nagging dry cough at night. Gave him a dose and it only took 30 minutes to work. He's been asleep for the past 8 hours and I haven't heard him cough once! Yes, it's expensive but it's very much worth it! Also, I didn't have a problem at all getting him to drink it. (he actually wanted more!).
I have bad allergies and sometimes develop a hacking cough. I have used many a cough medicine and most taste horrible but get the job done. Someone told me to try this and I have to say it is the best tasting cough medicine I have ever tasted. I cannot see any one not liking this. The one thing is that it is way more expensive and you don't get a lot for the money, but it works. THat is the only reason I didn't give it a 5.
Although it didn't last quite as long as advertised, this is the only thing that's helped my days-long, unrelenting cough. No combination of cough drop/ cough syrups did anything for me except this.
Flavor is quite good and it does help ease the cough. You know nothing really eliminates a cough, even the perscription stuff. This is good because it lasts longer to get you through the day or night.
