So, I'm one of those horrible, lazy people that rely heavily on reviews from other, more motivated shoppers, but never bothers to write my own reviews. However, after a week with this product, I felt compelled to add my thoughts to the review section.

This product is amazing! It more than lives up to the itch relief claim. After having tried almost every natural itch/eczema product available over the past 8 years, not to mention several not-so-natural choices, I can say that this has been the most effective at keeping the itch to a minimum during those tortuous "active" eczema days. It's light, non-greasy and is very easy to apply.

The biggest negatives I've found are the smell and the frequency of re-application required. I don't mind carrying the bottle around to re-apply as necessary (bonus that frequent re-application is OK), but the smell of the tea tree is pretty strong. Of course, it you get as itchy as I sometimes do, that smell is a small price to pay for relief and calm skin; but, if you're going to be in a situation where people will be close enough to notice the medicinal smell emanating from your body you might think twice about using it or apply well in advance of your public appearance.

I have skin that frequently gets "rashy" especially my neck. I have tried cortisone products which helped somewhat but seemed to irritate my skin before any temporary results were seen. Out of desperation I bought this product from my local natural food product store and was blown away by its effectiveness. It completely soothed my skin, stopped itch or irritation and cleared my redness and rash. I gave this lotion to my friend and my daughter-in-law and they LOVE it. Great, natural product. By the way, the smell is not bad at all - it is a natural product.

Still healing from internal radiation in lower abdominal area. Having a hard time finding any ointment I can use safely for more than 7 days or that doesn't cause more irritation. Love this product. It's soothing and I feel I can use it for the long haul. I've used other products with tea tree oil and am familiar with the smell. Don't think it's that bad and would prefer the makers not start adding any artificial chemical/fragrance.

I apply this product immediately after I get out of the shower. I can even put this lotion on my face without greasiness or a sticky feel. My skin is so soft after application! I have the winter itchiness and this works wonders! I also love the tea tree smell.

Smells awful but it does it's job so it's worth it.

This works okay- I think you have to be diligent with application in order to see any results. Since it is all natural, you won't get the quicker results of using a steroid, but it does help at least temporarily.

Although this product does apply better than any cortisone cream I've used I still say, "Save your money, stick with cortisone creams!" I say this because the itch relief is very short lived and this product smells just like a musty old sock! It's nasty!

I know they could do better with the smell, if it smelt better then I wouldn't mind reapplying it often enough to keep the itch relief lasting. But once you put it on you'll never want to put it on again! After just a few minutes after application I had to put a perfumed product on to cover the horrible smell, and even that didn't help much. Eventually I had to wash it off, I just couldn't stand it any longer.

So unless they can add something to improve the smell, I suggest you stay away. I will add that I have a very keen sense of smell but even my husband who has trouble smelling anything at all smelt this and was repulsed by it.

This product now just sits there - I think of using it again since it cost so much, but I just can't bring myself to open that bottle again. What a waste...

I've been using this on my 20 month old daughter's skin for a couple of months now. Her skin is extremely sensitive and she has severe excema. Although the scent is strong, this has been a miracle for her skin. We've tried so many different creams, lotions, etc. and this has been the best.

If you're skin is itching and you feel really uncomfortable-buy this. It smells like tea tree oil in the beginning, but the smell goes away. It relives itching, you do have to re-apply. This is better then Aveno, which does animal testing.

My daughter has dermatitis, this is so much better than using a prescribed steroid treatment and alot more affordable. It has made a huge difference for her.
