I also have a sensitivity to dimethicone, so choosing a moisturizer is a real challenge for me. This gel is absolutely perfect. It contains no oil or dimethicone which means no breakouts. Matter of fact, my skin hasn't been this clear in years. It moisturizes well, yet doesn't make my skin shiny. A few people have commented that this product is sticky. I think they must be using too much. This gel is very concentrated, so just use the smallest amount possible. I will, without question, continue to use this product. I used it for three weeks. First two weeks it was good. It smells good, it's natural, and it's moisturizing. When the third week came, it started making me break out and made my skin burn whenever I put it on. So I stopped using it. Maybe it's best for normal skin. I would not recommend it for people with sensitive skin. Comments about derma e Soothing Oil-Free Moisturizer, 2 oz: I have had problems with acne, most of my life, and now at 46 I think that I may be getting a very slight version of possible roseaca, due to visible capillary breakage on my very very pale facial skin. I love all Derma e Products as they are all natural and do not irritate my combo/sensitive/T zone oily skin. A little goes a long way. I apply this daily AM and PM, after I have washed my face, and it soaks it quickly and feels great on my skin...very refreshing and soothing. I have been using this for over 4 months and I have not had any breakouts related to this gel. It seems to have calmed down my possible roseaca as well. I use it along with the other Derma e products, the Hyaluronic Acid and Ester C Serums with great results. I was so happy when someone asked me how do I get my skin to look so great! For someone having to had to deal with acne for 20 years, that was a true gift! Comments about derma e Soothing Oil-Free Moisturizer, 2 oz: I absolutely love the fact it is natural! I wish other beauty companies would stop putting toxic chemicals in our beauty supplies! Anyway, as for this gel, it is way too soon to see if it is making a difference. I like using gels or serums because I have very oily skin for being 44 years old. This gel doesn't create more oil like creams. It has a strange texture. The eye gel ( same line ) doesn't even have this strange texture. I am not sure if I will purchase this product again. Time will only tell. (1 of 3 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Yes / No - You may also flag this review 3/17/2011 good product- works well under makeup Pros

Comments about derma e Soothing Oil-Free Moisturizer, 2 oz: I had used the Ester-C serums and liked those, but found that they were not as long-lasing. So I tried this Pynogenol one and this was surprisingly effective. I use it for my face and hands. My skin is dry, but tends to get pimples with greasy moisturizers. This is still not as long lasting as I would like, but I apply daily and works great. I only use this at night. Not sure it's effective. Does not irritate sensitive skin so that is a plus. Comments about derma e Soothing Oil-Free Moisturizer, 2 oz: I love this gel. I use Retin-A micro a few nights a week to control my acne. In the morning I usually use a glycolic acid lotion. That combination is great for acne but it leaves my skin very sensitive and red. I was looking for a moisturizer that wouldn't make me break out, and derma-e Pycnogenol gel is just wonderful! It really calms down the redness and irritation. It doesn't make me break out. I also use it around my eyes and on my neck. I really LOVE this product.
