The product is good for light to medium coverage; however, it does not cover age spots or blemishes all that well. After a few hours of wear, it tends to make wrinkles appear deeper than they actually are.

I have rosacea and this product covers perfectly. I have been using it for years. I get many compliments on my skin. I do other many other things to keep my skin soft and moist as well. I moisturizer first. Only use a thin layer after warming it by rubbing it in the palm of your hand. Use just a little of the setting powder. I buff off excess with cotton after a minute. It costs a lot but the jar lasts a long time and the product covers all day on the face. In my opinion, this is the best product for the purpose on the market.

I use this every day to cover a tattoo on my ankle. I put this on, apply some baby (or similar) powder, put on nylons and the tattoo disappears. This stays on all day beneath the nylons and does not rub of when I wear winter boots and walk 1.6 miles to work. I just take my boots off when I arrive, put on my heels, and the coverup beneath my nylons is exactly the same as when I put it on before the walk. I've also been known to wear pants at the gym, take a quick shower (keeping my foot out of the water as much as possible), put my nylons back on, and go back to work. This stuff comes off a bit when I do this but, honestly, not enough to worry about.

All this being said, this stuff is major, major, major coverage. I don't know if I'd wear it without nylons over it because when covering a tattoo (and my tattoo is pretty big) nothing on earth is going to look like natural skin. But if you are in the market for the absolute most pigment in a formula that will not budge without significant effort, this is your product.

This product covers up dark spots with a natural appearance. Next order I will go one shade darker.
