An esthetician recommended Dermoligica products for me based on my sensitive skin issues - I have some redness in the T-zone and my skin irritates easily. The Active Moist is light and smooth and never aggrevates my skin. At seventy, I have tried many products - some at great expense. I now cleanse with Dermalogica Ultracalming Cleanser and use the Active Moist as my all day moisturizer. It works for me!

I tried the "intensive moisture balance" formula of Dermalogica and liked that very much for the "drier" parts of my skin. However, I am so pleased with the "active moist" formula as it seems to balance my skin where there are definitely more oily areas. It really does a great job with my "combination" skin and I will be using the two formulas in tandem for as long as Dermalogica continues to offer it.

Got a free sample from Ulta - tried it just out of curiosity - LOVED it. Bought a few other Dermalogica items, loved them ALL. My skin feels so much softer and looks so much better (lines diminishing). I use the whole regimend now - morning and night. It doesn't take that long, and it's so worth it. It seems expensive, but it's well worth the money, and they're large-sized bottles/tubes, so they last a long time. I told my sister she needed to buy this product line - I hope she listens.

This moisturizes, yes. I have combo skin and by mid-day, my skin is oily. I would NOT recommend this to someone with oily or combination skin during winter even. There are much better options at better price points. I do love the dermalogica scrub (powder).

This is one of the best moisturizers I have ever used. It is very light and you only have to use a tiny bit to cover the whole face and neck. It absorbs fast and never gives me break-outs. Not greasy at all. I love it and for the price I love it even more!
