This lotion is the perfect moisturizer for balancing problematic, acne-prone, oily, sensitive, hormonal, reactive skin. It doesn't give too much moisture, just enough to heal rawness and redness. It also seems to normalize the skin pH so that it doesn't get too oily or too dry. I can't live without this lotion. I pray that they never discontinue it! My skin stays perfect as long as I use it. I've tried oil-free moisturizers from Shideido, Dr Brandt, Bliss, Clinique, Philosophy, etc, and this is BY FAR the best at regulating sebum and keeping skin clear without irritation.

This product doesn't prevent your skin from getting oily. If applied to an oily complexion mid-morning, it dries up the oil, treats acne on-the-rise and makes your skin feel as though you've washed it and started over. If I don't have blotters handy, this fluid will do the trick, plus treat acne-prone skin. Unlike the other oil cutters, benzoyl peroxide and sulfur, it won't bleach your clothes. It's handy for humid summer days when your face feels grimy (apply with a tissue or freshly washed hands). I wish there were a product to control sebaceous glands, but this isn't it.

I bought this as it was part of a (sample-sized) system I tried. Being as I showed some improvement in my acne, I wanted to give it more time to see if the system truly helps my skin.
So far, I can take it or leave it on this particular product because it is an oil control lotion and the areas I use it on aren't very oily. (I use clearing mattifyer on those) But I use it as intended within the system.

i brought this because of all the great reviews but it didn't work for me at all after two hours by noise was back to being a greasy shiny mess save your money!

It has been very hot and humid in Arkansas for the last few days. I apply this oil control lotion under my foundation and my face feels clean all day long. I even use it before I exercise in the heat and it absorbs the sweat and oil. I love this product!

I have pretty oily skin and I never knew what to use to absorb the oil. I went for a facial and was recommended this and I was skeptical it would work. However, it works great and lasts all day. I put it on after I wash my face, then I apply my moisturizer and then my make-up, so it almost works as a primer. My skin feels great throughout the day and smoother. It helps clear up existing pimples as well. I am just happy that my face isn't a grease ball anymore! Plus there is no scent, which is always a plus!
