I have plaque psoriasis and it works better than any other over the counter item I've found, except prescriptions from the dermatoligist. I did however find that [@] carries it cheaper.

i love this product..... i used everything in the book even prescribed meds, over the counter and i find that everyone is different when it comes to finding hair stuff that does work... i have had this problem for about 10 yrs now and i am glad to see results from this shampoo, it's been about 3 weeks and my scalp has never looked this good... !!!!!Thank you Dermarest!!!!!

I don't think this shampoo did much for me. I only have a slight case of psoriasis and I know everyone is unique, so I think I will try something different...I believe there is a tar shampoo rather than salycic acid.

I was a little leery to use this shampoo at first as it states that it has a built in conditioner. I have had really bad experiences with that type of product as my hair is very thick and wavy-curly.
This shampoo was completely different- first off there is no odor to the shampoo at all, definite plus! And yes, while my hair does feel under conditioned after shampooing, I just add a very small amount of a spray on de-tangler and yesterday I used a small amount of styling lotion that also worked great as a de-tangler.
I have also noticed a decreased in the plaques around my hairline, I have only used the product a handful of times, but I have a feeling that as I continue to use it my hair will continue to respond positively!

this helped change my condition in two days. I had scalp itch and itchy eyelids and face. This shampoo controls that completely! Wish I had found it sooner. Along with dermarest eczema cream I no longer have a problem.

This shampoo really helped my seborrhic dermatitis/psoriasis of the scalp. I continue to use it as my only shampoo because the thick clear liquid is gentle on my hair, neutral in odor and doesn't feel medicinal. I need to use it regularly to keep the nasty crust from forming on my scalp, and it doesn't take away all plaques. But those that remain can easily be treated with the steriod solution prescribed by my dermatologist. Together, these two products have almost eliminated my problem, and I never thought I would be able to say that.

I have scalp psoriasis and big time problem with scales on my scalp. It took almost 6 months to get rid of but I did. I used a combination of three shampoos - one with zinc, regular shampoo, and then the Dermarest shampoo that I feel was responsible in getting rid of the scales. I will continue to use this shampoo to keep the scales off my scalp.

Recently, I've developed seborrheic dermatitis and this shampoo keeps the crusting/rashing at bay. You have to use it consistently in order for it to perfrom to it's full potential, so be willing to accept this product as your only shampoo option. I find it gentle and non-stripping on my naturally curly African-American hair. With usage up to 3 times a week, my hair is never parched and the scaling is controlled!
