My sister has psoriasis, and she depends on this product to keep it under control, especially on the underside of her feet, which allows her to walk more comfortably. She's used it for years, and never found anything else that works as well. She lives abroad where you cannot buy this, so whenever she visits me, or if I visit her, we make sure her stock is replenished. It has 3% salicylic acid, is a clear gel, is almost odorless, easy to apply. A simple, excellent product.

I use this product as a moisturizer for my son's acne. He is on Accutane and it is very drying. This particular Dermarest product also has the same active ingredient in many acne medications which is salicylic acid and can be very drying also...but the added moisturizing ingredients create a balance. For myself I use it in my scalp whenever I get hair extensions, because the method used to install the extensions is to braid my natural hair closely to my scalp and attach the extensions to the braids, when my scalp becomes itchy it is very hard to reach under the braids and the applicator tip is awesome at reaching those spots and relieving the itch. It's not greasy, which can loosen hair extensions. I have it in my house at all times.

I have had psoriasis for over 16 years; since I was a child. I have tried every expensive ointment, tar soap, oatmeal bath and lotion known to mankind. I thought I was going to have to just deal with it and make due with the most moisturing lotions I could find. I came across this product in the drugstore and thought why not I have tried everything else. So after a few days I noticed that my psoriasis did not have as thick plaques. After two weeks most of the redness has been dramatically reduced. If you are a chronic sufferer like me then I would definittely use this product. The main effective ingredient in this I have also seen in prescription medicine. Use as directed and you will see a difference. I never thought I would find a product that would work like this. It truly is amazing,

I use it on my scalp every night. It removes any dead skin cells and/or dry skin. The 1% difference in salicyalate acid (acne med. has 2% and this is 3%) does indeed make a huge difference in effectiveness. However, if you have very sensitive skin and have problems w/2%, don't be fooled by thinking it's only an extra 1% so how much more could it be bothersome. Order 1 the first time. For myself, this product is overall a far better choice for acne med. The difference in price and the amount of product vs acne med.is not even comparable. It's a gel too. It even helps with sebaceous cysts; which I have had a problem with all my life. It does say to check w/Dr if using on a large area, so I will have to do this.

This works great on clearing up my psoriasis, but I had my grandson try it on his face and his bad case of acne began to clear up immediately. By the next morning his face was definitely healing. Within a few days his Acne was completely gone. Thank you for such great stuff.

I've had a recurring skin rash for several years that causes swelling, redness, severe itching. I have every scrip - and usually it is prednisone that stops it. Then I discovered this product. This is amazing. Instant relief! Highly recommend.
