My skin tends to be sensitive and on the oily side, this product really works well for me. Lathers quickly and I use it for shaving as well. I'd been told that Tea Tree oil soap can be harsh on your skin, but these folks seem to have gotten it right.

Great bar soap. Makes me feel very clean. Does dry out my skin, though. Nothing a good lotion won't fix.

I have used other products from Desert Essence religiously for years. This is the first time I have tried the cleansing bar. I love it. It doesn't dry out my skin. Yet my skin feels squeaky clean after using it. I am on Retin-A for acne and my skin gets dried out often. This product cleans without drying and has a pleasant smell. Some Tea Tree Oil products smell too strong. But this is mild and pleasant. I would recommend this to anyone with combination skin.

This soap is wonderful. The bar lasts a very long time, thus making it economical and the price less than it seems. The scent is very slight, and I have noticed that my skin doesn't appear to feel as dry after showering. I like that it is listed as vegan as just having had cancer, I am much more aware of what I injest as well as use on my skin. No strange reactions, and my husband loves it as well. He is pretty picky about soap - the way it lathers (needs to soap up enough) and the scent (which cannot be too feminine for him).
