This works great for my sensitive skin. My skin gets irritated easily by even gentle/sensitive lotions. The jojoba oil, though...I can just rub it onto my skin, it soaks right in, and there's NO irritation, whatsoever! The only downfall is that it doesn't smell great at first, but the smell isn't strong and it doesn't linger.

I use JoJoba Oil for many many things - my hair & in my hair conditioners & leave-in conditioners; my skin right after my shower before I dry off; my face in the evening for my dry skin in the winter; to clean my makeup brushes I use for cream products before I clean the brushes with a regular cleanser.

The Dessert Essence Jojoba Oil is too too expensive for such a teeny bottle. I buy my oil by the liter or gallon from Hobacare.

I intended to use the jojoba oil on my scalp because it gets dry and flaky during the winter months. Generally with oils I leave the products on for between 1-3 hours before shampooing them out. I had this on for about 2 hours and the smell was just not good. I don't know if I got a bad bottle, but it lingered for the entire time and I was so afraid of it that I shampooed twice to guarantee that it did not stay on my hair. I wish I could get past the smell because I've read great things about it but I'd much rather have a dry scalp then walk around smelling like rotten oil.

I use this oil to protect my hair from sweat while jogging. my hair was breaking and drying out from daily jogging and sweat. I've tried olive oil but it's waaaay too thick and hard to wash out. This oil is perfect, washes out nicely and leaves my hair super soft and not dry.

I use this as a skin oil on very dry areas and under eyes to remove makeup gently. Use sparingly and it soaks right in unlike most oils.

I use this on my skin -- I live in hot, humid southern Florida and lotions just get slimy on my skin. This soaks in and isn't noticeable except that my skin isn't flaky and dry like it is when I don't use anything. The only reason I couldn't give it a 5-star rating is that it smells kind of bad when you first put it on -- but after it dries, the smell is completely gone. I'm going to put some drops of lavender essential oil in to see if that helps. I also run my hands through my hair to use up whatever is left on my hands and it adds shine there too. GREAT PRODUCT!

I tried Jojoba Oil with the Oil Cleansing Method (google it if you are unfamiliar), and after initial purging of my skin, it became super clear and "glowy." Hyperpigmentation from old acne scars was decreased, and the overall moisture level was improved.This oil has so many great uses, and the bottle lasts a long time because you only need a small amount! I use Jojoba Oil nightly underneath my nighttime facial moisturizer (Cerave PM). I also use this as an eye makeup remover because it is so gentle and effective. When my hair is dry, I rub some oil into the ends overnight and shampoo it out in the morning. As others have mentioned, this is also great for a dry, flaky scalp. Just massage it into the scalp, and then shampoo out! I have not noticed that it significantly improves eczema when rubbed into my hands, but it does add nice moisture. I often add a couple of drops of the oil to my hand cream at night before putting on cotton gloves.

I read that this oil had many uses: skin, hair and as a make-up remover. It does work as a moisturizer and as a make-up remover, but not for hair (unless you like the greasy hair look).
The only problem with this product is that it smells like vegetable oil, and I just couldnt' live with that! Well, and it also feels like vegetable oil on your skin and does not absorb for hours.
