This product smells so good. I use it or another Dessert Essence lotion daily to moisturize and prevent dry skin.

The lotion provides relief to my dry skin during the winter months. However, I need to apply it at night so that I don't smell like a pina colada during the day.

I love to use coconut oil on my skin, so I thought I'd try this coconut moisturizer. First problem, I could smell the scent before I unwrapped it from the air-tight packaging...Things got worse from there. Coconut oil is about the 10th ingredient. I smeared some on my hand and practically passed out from the heavy hooker perfume. I washed my hand after heaving the offending tube into the garbage [...], but am getting a headache. It's going to take some time to get the stink off of me and out of my living room. Suggest you pass on this one!

I haven't used this product in winter yet, so I can't say how well it helps with my winter eczema prone dry skin. In the summer, however, I really like this to moisturize my hands, legs and elbows. I don't wear perfume, so the smell of this adds a nice warm and soft scent to my skin. I like the smell when I put it on, but don't love it. As the smell softens, I like it more. I will buy this again.

There is a lot of jojoba oil in this, which is why it doesn't feel greasy and acts as a moisture sealer all day. Plus, the scent is divine. I get more compliments on this scent than I do with expensive perfume. I will continue to buy this product for sure!

I'm a huge coconut fan, and I don't mind a lingering scent, but like many reviewers I found this to smell more like pina colada than straight up coconut. I don't find it necessarily chemical smelling but it's not an all together a pure fragrance.
I have pretty dry skin-more so in the winter of course. While this is thick and has a lot of natural/organic ingredients it simply is not moisturizing enough for me and it takes forever to absorb! I prefer the Shikai line and C booth's for moisture retention and over-all performance. I won't purchase again.

I usually love all DE products, but this stung my skin and left red welts wherever I applied it. I do have sensitive skin, but have been buying various natural lotions for years with no problems. I think it does smell great, but is pretty strong. You must really love coconut and have tough skin to use this lotion.

I suffered with psoriasis for years. Now I take prescription medication for it. The Desert Essence Organics (DEO) Coconut Hand and Body Lotion is about the only moisturizer that makes up for what my medication misses. It is a bit greasy but well worth it. I even found myself in a situation where I could not take my medication for three weeks. During that time I relied on DEO to help ease my flare ups. I love the coconut fragrance too! :-)

The only reason I bought this is for the scent. But I am thrilled with how it heals the weird scaly spots on my arms and legs. I've looked into what they are and shown them to doctors-it's a mystery. But something in this formula is making them smaller. I've had this problem for years and have tried all kinds of lotions and oils-nothing helped until now. Like I said-thrilled!

I do have to say that it's more of a pina colada/pineapple-y scent. I wish it were more of a young coconut scent, but I still like it. Perfect for summer.
