I noticed that it had a slightly new name when I ordered it, but I didn't notice that it said "new fragrance." The previous fragrance was heavenly, but this is definitely not. I smell no vanilla at all, and comparing this tube with my old one, vanilla is far down this list whereas it was previously second. It smells simply of cloves, allspice, or something along those lines to me. The new formula is lighter and silkier, but I'm very sad over losing my all-time favorite fragrance. The manufacturer offered no customer service incentive to me either, despite being a longtime buyer. I'm sadly disappointed in every way except for the nice texture of the lotion.

Loved the smell, but it's pretty expensive for a hand cream. It works...much like any other hand cream would. I'd rather drink the tea and get antioxidants and use unscented hand cream!

Very good moisturizer, but the smell is way too strong. It smells very strongly like cloves and a kind of fake sweet vanilla smell. way too overpowering. would not use this around other people, but is ok to use before bed.

It does a decent job of moisturizing, but the smell is great. If you like the spicy chai and warm vanilla scents, then this lotion is a must.

Lotion works well, nice smell, really helps dry feet/heels. Last long time. Like the fact its wheat/gluten free and organic ingredients.

I really like this product. It's a great moisturining cream, and it smells delicious. I've received complements on the scent - as if I were wearing a cologne. That said, some may find the scent too strong. I think its absolutely lovely...

The smell is the best part. It is a yummy, sweet chai smell that lasts forever! Guys love it. Good thick lotion, too.

This lotion feels wonderful going on. I love chai tea and vanilla. But the scent in this lotion is VERY strong and makes me nauseous and headachy. Usually, only floral scents bother me but this one does it too. I think I will plan to mix it with some unscented lotion, and perhaps just use it on my legs. I forget that it's on my hands and I'm bothered every time I put my hands near my face...and I've even washed them!

All that said, the lotion FEELS wonderful. I would definitely try another scent in the future.

I try a lot of products until I find something I love, and then I usually stick with that product. That's what has happened with this hand and body lotion, which I never want to be without.

The first thing that attracted me was the delicious Vanilla Chai scent, which initially is strong, but quickly fades to a subtle note as the moisturizer sinks into your skin. I wear a perfume I love, and it's important for my products to have an enjoyable fragrance but still does not compete with my overall preferred scent. I happen to think the Vanilla Chai is an excellent and subtle complement to my perfume (Michael Kors for Women, if you are wondering), but I'm fairly certain the only people who pick up on it as an underlying scent are myself and those who know me extraordinarily well.

The most important thing, however, is for a lotion to effectively moisturize, which this absolutely does. It softens my skin beautifully, even those tricky rough spots like elbows. It also absorbs quickly which is especially important when you are short on time or getting ready for work in the morning. Coupled with an excellent price and the convenience of having it delivered to my door, it's everything I could want in a hand and body lotion.
