This shampoo really is unscented. For people with allergies who can't use scented shampoos/soaps/product on their hair, this works really well.

This has been a truly unscented shampoo that actually seems to work! I am an allergy sufferer and need to use all unscented soaps/shampoos/conditioners as well as unscented laundry detergents to keep reactions to a minimum. Some products say unscented by as soon as you open the bottle, a odd smell emits from it. Not with this product. It lathers well, which a lot of shampoos don't, and rinses well.

I like to use natural products and liked the idea behind this product. However, it is thin like water and the small amount that doesn't immediately dribble through your fingers and down the drain doesn't seem to do much of anything. No lather, no cleaning. My hair feels (and smells!) exactly as it would if I just rinsed with plain water. I work out and sweat. I need actual cleaning.

To edit a recent review, I find this product to be harsh. Thinking I was avoiding sulfates... such as sodium lauryl sulfate this shampoo contains sodium coco sulfate. With the little research I've done on this sulfate it seems to be another version or name for sodium lauryl sulfate. I definately will be searching for a different shampoo as I am afriad this product is too harsh.

So far this is the best product I can find for my sensitive skin. Not only was I searching for a product to use on my sensitive skin/ scalp but also one that did not include citric acid. This product, after one use is grade letters up compared to others.
Hair health, I have only used this product once and because of that can not answer if any improvement on hair health.
I suggest using this products hours before you sleep.

I require unscented products while deer hunting with my boyfriend. If I didn't use the unscented shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion, I would have to use the men's deer hunting products that are NOT good for a woman's hair or skin. I'm glad I found these products. The shampoo works great - lathers well, makes my hair shiny, etc. My hair is fine, thin, and oily at the scalp. The only negative is this stuff is kind of thin, so be careful when you are lifting your hand to apply it to your head - it tends to run out of your hand when it's tilted. It's that thin. Otherwise, a great product - and completely unscented. The unscented lotion has a kind of odor upon application. I wrote a review for that as well. The conditioner works well. It's not thin, and I was tangle-free when combing out my hair. I liked that!

I had to use it for a alternative therapy treatment where I couldn't use scents of any sort and this was the only thing I could find. It had no smell -- not just those things that say "fragrance free" but actually have a fragrance. This one actually has no fragrance!! works just like a regular shampoo just no scent. Fabulous!! I used the conditioner too and it worked just as well.

I bought this to help replace my ordinary shampoo due to the harsh chemical ingredients (sulfates, detergents, preservatives, etc). I was ordering some other Desert Essence stuff, so I thought I would try this. Its an okay product. It is somewhat difficult to later, but I mix it with water which helps. It also has a pleasent smell. I should of bought the conditioner, since this stuff isn't very moisturizing alone. Overall, it does an okay job if you would probably use it along with the conditioner. Plus its FRAGRANCE-FREE! How often do you find that in a shampoo/conditioner? Give it a try if your interested!
