Well, simply put, it's now my favorite shampoo of all time!!! Not only does my hair have noticeable shine, it actually has more body than it got from the volumizing shampoo. The smell is heavenly (I love raspberries) and my hair is that amazing combo of soft but full. All my other shampoos are going to the back of the closet. I also use the Raspberry conditioner once or twice a week and it's a great partner for this shampoo. While I really, really like the scent of this product, I was very disappointed in the quality. Instead of leaving my hair soft and shiny - as promised - my hair was noticeably drier than usual, and ended up with a really dry, raspy texture, even when air dried. Comments about Desert Essence Shampoo for Shine Enhancement, Red Raspberry, 8 fl oz: I switched to using this organic red raspberry shampoo over a year ago, and I love it. It smells fantastic, and cleans my hair without leaving residue behind, which is important to me because my hair is baby-fine. I also use several other products by this manufacturer and am equally as pleased with those.

Comments about Desert Essence Shampoo for Shine Enhancement, Red Raspberry, 8 fl oz: I have curly to wavy hair and live in a dry climate. I used the Desert Essence coconut shampoo and conditioner when I lived in a humid climate and noticed that once I moved out here, it made my hair less shiny. I switched to the Red Raspberry shampoo and conditioner and have been so happy at how they have made my curls manageable and soft. The curls fall just like they should, the shine is great, and frizz is non-existent. I think it works better than the coconut one ever did. My only (minor) complaint is that the raspberry shampoo doesn't foam as much as the coconut one, but it truly does a great job: it cleans, hydrates, and adds great shine! I'm so glad I found this product.
Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Desert Essence Shampoo for Shine Enhancement, Red Raspberry, 8 fl oz: This product contains salicylic acid and willow bark (the natural form of salicylic) even though this is not well advertised on the bottle. It is not an acne fighting product, so why include these ingredients? These chemicals are what's used to make aspirin, and yet there is no warning on the bottle for people who are senstive to or should not take aspirin. So much for a "natural" product. Pros

Cons Best Uses Comments about Desert Essence Shampoo for Shine Enhancement, Red Raspberry, 8 fl oz: The ingredient list on this product differs from the list on the website. Because i am allergic to fragrances, I have a difficult time finding products. I thought this would be great because of what I saw on the web site. The product arrived in a timely manner and works well. I am just disappointed that I can not use the product because it did cause an allergic reaction.

Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Desert Essence Shampoo for Shine Enhancement, Red Raspberry, 8 fl oz: I bought this product because of the awesome reviews, but I am sorry to say that I am not impressed with this shampoo in the least, and certainly not for the price. I have very normal, stick straight hair, and this shampoo does nothing more for my hair then a $3 bottle of dove shampoo. Its hard to get lathered up well, which I highly dislike. It smells OK, very sweet, not exactly what I was expecting. I will not be buying the again, had truly hoped it was as wonferful as the other reviews claimed, but was not!
Comments about Desert Essence Shampoo for Shine Enhancement, Red Raspberry, 8 fl oz: I am so pleased with this shampoo. I can't believe how good my hair looks and feels after using this for about 2 weeks. I had this frizz that just would not go away, until now. I highly recommend it. Comments about Desert Essence Shampoo for Shine Enhancement, Red Raspberry, 8 fl oz: I really liked this shampoo and only used it about 5 times before my hairdresser asked me at my last visit if it was safe for color-treated hair. It didn't say so on the bottle so I stopped using it and called the company. The representative told me that it may strip my color so I haven't used it since. It made my hair shiny but my scalp was a little dry. Great shampoo if your hair isn't chemically treated. Comments about Desert Essence Shampoo for Shine Enhancement, Red Raspberry, 8 fl oz: Wonderful shampoo!!! My hair is shiny and soft after using this shampoo. Ive tried the lemon one for oily hair and it doesn't compare to the raspberry! By far my favorite shampoo yet |
