I use them every day on my shoulder length, wavy hair which is left soft and shiny. Both my scalp and my hair feel better than they have in at least 4 years. The shampoo is on the thin side, and I do have to use about one tablespoon of the conditioner, but these are minor inconveniences when compared with how well these products are working for me. I was ordering some other Desert Essence stuff, so I thought I would try this. Its an okay product. It is somewhat difficult to later, but I mix it with water which helps. It also has a pleasent smell. I should of bought the conditioner, since this stuff isn't very moisturizing alone. Overall, it does an okay job if you would probably use it along with the conditioner. Comments about Desert Essence Shampoo, Fragrance Free, 8 fl oz: This stuff is ok, We have been using it for some time. Finding a natural (Vegetarian) shampoo without fragrance is tough. My biggest complaint is that it dries my hair and scalp out to the point of dry flakiness , the conditioner I can only use a very tiny amount or my scalp breaks out. I honestly prefer my home made baking soda shampoo and apple cider vinegar conditioner but I use this every once in a while for convenience and My Husband prefers it. Grateful that this is available but will switch if something better comes along. Oh and I also don't care for its smell. But it works for now.

Comments about Desert Essence Shampoo, Fragrance Free, 8 fl oz: I am VERY sensitive to odors and scents. So sometimes "fragrance free" cosmetics will still bother me. This shampoo is great. It lathers better than most the other additive-free shampoos. It may not give the same feel as drugstore shampoos, but it is certainly enough to feel as though your hair is thoroughly clean. Hair is a little difficult to comb through if you do not use a conditioner. But even my hairdresser is impressed with this product!

Everything I have purchased from our local stores that says "scent/fragrance free" is NOT scent/fragrance free. This is the one and ONLY shampoo I am able to use. It is a bit pricey compared to my normal shampoo purchases, but totally worth it!!!

I am an allergy sufferer and need to use all unscented soaps/shampoos/conditioners as well as unscented laundry detergents to keep reactions to a minimum. Some products say unscented by as soon as you open the bottle, a odd smell emits from it. Not with this product. It lathers well, which a lot of shampoos don't, and rinses well.

However, it is thin like water and the small amount that doesn't immediately dribble through your fingers and down the drain doesn't seem to do much of anything. No lather, no cleaning. My hair feels (and smells!) exactly as it would if I just rinsed with plain water. I work out and sweat. I need actual cleaning.
