This product is the only product I've ever found that effectively controlled oil and shine *for hours*. But I'm shocked to read reviews about how "wonderful" this smells. This smells good when you first squeeze it out of the tube. But the second I started rubbing it together with my fingers and applying it to my face, I almost gagged from the smell. This smells AWFUL! I can't think of what to describe it to, it just smells horrible. I don't know how people are claiming this smells like "peppermint." It smells NOTHING like it! And smell DOES NOT go away quickly. I am disappointed, because while the product works great, the smell is so bad that I can't continue to use this product.

I have been using this lotion for about a month now and just love it. I have oily skin and rosacea, and very sensitive skin. It has been difficult to find a moisturizer that works with the oil issue and rosacea/sensitivity at the same time. This lotion is light weight and smells nice. I have been experiencing less redness on my face and fewer breakouts since I started using it. I use it at night, and also during the day under my makeup. Wish I had found this lotion earlier. Love this lotion!

I started using this to help counteract the oil my skin produces from having to use high SPF on my face every day (I have very fair skin). My skin is EXTREMELY sensitive, and this never leaves me red or irritated. It doesn't do any miracles regarding oil, but it does moisturize my skin very well without contributing to the oil problem. I have very dry skin on my cheeks but an oily t-zone, and this moisturizer may not be perfect, but it has been by far the best at balancing my skin.

On a side note, this brand's exfoliating scrub that comes in a tub is also great for sensitive skin.

I have used tea tree lotions on my face for a long time- namely Thursday Plantation, which is not *supposed* to be used on your face but it works for me. (Ps- for what it's worth, I'm always mistaken for about 10 years younger than I am.) The major cons with Thursday Plantation, however, are that it is sometimes not moisturizing enough for winter dry skin, and it smells strongly like tea tree oil, which is not that attractive. This one is a little thicker, and smells dreamy! It soaks into my skin right away, is not oily, and doesn't seem to make me break out. It doesn't leave my skin feeling particularly smooth or baby-like, like some products with silicone in them, but it just feels moisturized and healthy. Cheeers.

Disappointed with this moisturizer. Did not control t-zone oil, which was my reason for choosing it. Further disappointed that it caused my cheeks to be red and irritated. I had to rinse several times with ice cold water to calm it down. My skin is slightly sensitive, but handles most products without irritation. My skin is also acne prone, but so far this has not caused any breakouts. Perhaps, it would be better suited for those with only acne prone/oily, but non-sensitive skin. Not sure.

I used it on my face after shower. In couple minutes I started to feel burning sensation and my skin started to get red. I washed lotion right away but my skin was still very red for few hours. I didn't have any lasting effects, but probably just because I washed it off right away.
It might work for you, but make sure you test it on small patch of skin first!
Texture and smell were fine.
